You'll be happy then to hear that A. J. Gevaerd has removed himself as head of the CBU.

Saying that his role in Brazilian disclosure has been fulfilled, and that he believes his role as a jurnalist now should be to cover the story , not to create the story.

yeah, well ufology is flawed too. remember, hynek was pioneering much of this pseudo'culture' weve got today.

perhaps in the coldwar climate of project bluebook, hynek willingly dispersed disinformation. the man was the head consultant to the airforce during project bluebook. thats where swamp gas came from.

in more recent writings, hynek confirmed there was a definate agenda by bluebook to end curiosity once and for all. hynek entering the subject a genuine skeptic had no problem promoting those answers.

hynek also has commented that his involvment in bluebook convinced him atleast to the reality of the ufo phenomena, although he never vouched for its nature. he left the project with new curiosity.

throughout the years, his personal interest probably kept him up to date in ufology and his respected position granted him access to old sources.

and so it is likely that hynek willingly or unwillingly continued to promote more disinformation.

but i think he was generally a good guy.

I find that incident very intersting as well as the rest of that site, i put a thread on ere once askin what other species are there, and they seem to have a lot of info, i have read a few of ur posts and u seem an old hand at all this UFO stuff.....

I knew I'd read an in-depth piece by Gazrok at one time or another on "THE VARGINHA CASE : The Brazilian Roswell?". '2005. Superior workmanship, finest quality. An ATS thread link. and when searching I found a discussion from '04 with some great Gevaerd links (some mat be out of date and some do require Spanish but will convert with Google or Babel'.

Varginha is a city near mine here in Brazil...

I heard a lot of hystories about it, and tyhe city became famous because of the Et's. I heard that people from Nasa came here to see what happened...
