Iceland's newly elected government says "NO" to joining the European Union !!!!

About time somebody sees through the EU malarkey.

This has been an issue for a few years in Iceland.

Iceland's EU bid is over, commission told

Iceland's bid to join the EU is over, the country's foreign minister told the European Commission on Thursday (13 June).

"This is how democracy works," said Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson, on his first overseas trip, three weeks after being appointed to the recently elected Icelandic government.

He pointed out that both parties in the new government had campaigned against EU accession.

Wish I could give the Icelandic government stars and flags, but OP, you'll have to do LOL. Excellent news, now hopefully some of the member countries will pull out of that abomination (if it was closer to NA it could be an obamanation), like the UK. Lots of public dissent there it appears.

Cheers - Dave

Icelands stance on the Banksters and political trickery of the current global enslavement system is MILES ahead of any other western (or eastern) country.

In perfect fashion, all MSM outlets be like **crickets**

They jailed their bankers, they would never be accepted anyway... Also, great healthcare and the lowest infant mortality in the developed world... I want to move to Iceland.

They've got a lot figured out up there. Anti-GMO, Anti-Central Banking, no standing army. They do drink more Coca~Cola per capita than any other country but that seems to be their only vice. Will be on holiday there in April to pay my respects to a respectable country and its people.

Congratulations to the great people of Iceland!!

I'm afraid if we tried this here we would be "liberated" in no time.
