In what is either a shocking departure from the normal "PC" mindset, or just a simple error, a school police officer in a Houston suburb handed out calendars depicting details of satanic and sexual rituals to junior high school students. Calendar "enhancements" included satanic images along with text like: "September 20th is a 'midnight host'. You should have a blood-type ritual.", and "September 23rd is the fall equinox, you should have an orgy. Activity group sex, any age, any sex."

Local school officials in a suburb of Houston, Texas, are investigating how it was possible that a school police officer handed out calendars to students that featured explicit details on satanic and sexual rituals for every day of the month.

Parents in Pearland are demanding answers, according to a news report on KHOU-TV.

Great story, sure to inflame self-respecting bible bashers everywhere!
It's not clear what this cop was thinking of, though. The story goes that he "forgot" to remove "adult " material from some stuff he got at a anti-gang training course. Huh?? Why would an anti-gang training course hand out satanic material?

This won't, of course, do the children any harm...I imagine they found it quite amusing. Makes my old school seem pretty dull!

I think satanism (along with every other religion) should be taught about (not "taught" as in "here's what you must believe") in schools, anyway.

September 23rd is the fall equinox you should have an orgy. Activity group sex, any age, any sex.

Well, shoot! The 23rd was my birthday; I obviously didn't celebrate it in school-approved style.

So why didn't somebody proof this thing before sending it to the printer?

What's satanic about sex, it's about the only thing that makes me believe their could be a divine being

On top of that, the equinox celebration called for an ALL sex ALL ages orgy, not excluding anyone, if that isn't PC i don't know what is....

I don't think it was the sex part that was satanic. Probably just mentions of both in there. Tere was a image in the artice but can't really link t with satanism without a view of the whoe thing. Im surprised the officer hasnt been suspended for this action. You think he didn't look that stuff through before he handed it out. A Cop of all people? Right... anyways I am sure the students got a kick out of it.

.
Is it just me or does this sound like something to get parents hysterical?

With all the Christian propaganda I suppose some time should be afforded to the opposing view.

Personally I think all religions are illogical.

This is the reason we have seperation of church and state, you either have to ban all or accept all, what I find funny is those that would support this but have a fit over a Manger secene at the school OR those that would want to burn him at the stake but have no problem forcing children of different faiths to honor "their" God. BOTH views are wrong

Well, I personally try to avoid such double-standards. I'm not a christian (was considering becoming an Agnostic, but couldn't make my mind up
), but I wouldn't dream of objecting to manger scenes or what have you.

My kids are required to take Religious Education...that bothered me at first, then I found out that - although it's christian-based - they also learn about all different religions. (Perhaps not satanism, though, which might seem biased but probably doesn't reflect a significant gap in their education...)
