Ukraine crisis: Rockets 'kill 20' in Mariupol

Ukrainian army soldiers are foolish and fighting a senseless war for a losing cause. 10x more foolish are Kiev Army Generals who are sitting on the sidelines with thumbs up the rear and pushing men towards the horrendous demise.

Time to grab this Porky by the hair and dump him in the waste bin. This man is a warmonger and brought evilness to the Ukrainian people. Too much enmity and bitterness has taken roots between East and West Ukraine. Any more attempts to hold on as one territory is senseless.

Junta in Kiev is taking orders from the West and not caring for its own people. This 'EVIL' Junta should be rounded up and shot on the spot. Innocent common civilians are suffering.

Time for a regime change in Kiev. Time to split up like Czechoslovakia and end the senseless bloodshed of human beings.

I think its high time the OSCE and the UN stop talking and take action against Russia. I am also in favor of botting Russia out of both organizations.

First it is Semion Mogilevich and he is in Russia not Tel Aviv.

Interesting view. I know your opinions come with alot of thought and reason. I personally don't know how deep the Israeli connection is into Ukraine, but it sure is deeper than I thought. Soros seems to be diving head first into Ukraine for years now.

The cover story is that the EU wants Ukraine in it's 'orbit' as a trading partner and such. The US doesn't really care as long as Russia gets weaker in the process. Could the real story be an Israeli take-over of Ukraine? Given the size and resource limitations of 'the Holy Land' it makes a ton of sense....

Yes there is a certain business elite that resides at times in Tel Aviv and controls much of Eastern Europe's business world. From there it makes its apperance in politics when necessary. This is big business. Many were born in Ukraine Russia Moldova etc, they may at times live in Netanya, Tel Aviv etc but their wealth comes from their original homelands. This is not just theory it is fact. I've got nothing to grind here, I holiday in Israel frequently and it's a great place. Poryshenko and his guard are just part of this same controlling group

Seems to be the favourite tagline for the pro-Russia lot, but no one is even using the word even vaguely correctly. It would be more accurate to call them a herd or a constellation you're so far off the mark.

Junta -

The Nazi claims blew up in their face when all nationalist / socialists were voted out of office. It went down hill from there when it was pointed out the Russian Duma has 55+ nationalist / socialist members.

I find it hilarious though being the Russian government recognized the government of Ukraine and accepted all voting results.

I guess it depends on what the Kremlin talking point is and whether or not the Kremlin can keep track of all the lies they spout. Im thinking about starting a thread that looks at putins last election and the fraud surrounding it, followed up by the mass protests that he stomped down. To me that sounds like a Junta.

To bring it back around to the topic the Pro Russian Junta was the one behind the deaths. Even the OSCE is stating the shots came from "junta rebel" (my term) controlled territory.

There is an emergency meeting of the UNSC scheduled for Monday regarding the recent events.

Just read in Kiev Post Uraine jets have hit a Russian base near to Mariupol.

Why would Russia have a base in Ukraine, as they aren't involved there...or at least that is what they say.

So if this was picked up on Russian army communications as the report says, this is just another nail in the coffin for Russia and their denial of being in Ukraine.

That's a good point about the rebels. If anything fits the description of the word Junta, it is the rebels. Military commanders in overall control with the local "Mayors" either towing the line or being Military Commanders themselves.

Whether it's a Russian base inside Ukraine or outside it makes no difference. It's pretty clear that Russian troops are operating in Ukraine, plus weapons being sent in. Russia is taking back what belongs to it. Theft has occured regarding outside influences in Kiev, Ukraine was never an independent country, it is part of Russia's domain. They are merely taking back what is theirs.

"Ethnic Russians" only live in Eastern Ukraine because the Russian Empire itself took the land by Conquest in the 1700's

The same goes for the Crimea. The only reason Russia "owned" the land historically was through conquest and Subjugation.

At any rate, Russia has not been in physical possession of either region for nigh on 60 years and they recognised Ukraine's Sovereignty back in the 1990's including the borders as they stood.

We, people from Eastern Europe do not want it. We had too much wars and conflicts on our soil. It is enough.
