I do give peace a chance, were you enraged at me saying this?

Just saying.
I hope you enjoy 'Passage'
Can you enlighten me more on this movie? Interested I am
Thanks...

Heck no, no rage at all. That was just a lame attempt to segue back into the thread topic as my content was sending it somewhere's else. And 'Passage' is about the search for the Frankln expedition during Victorian times. I think your thread is spot-on. Folks need reminders that this 'hatred' is manufactured and artificial, and it's up to us to see through the murk.

People get caught up in an us vs them mentality, not considering for a moment that we are all one.

Just imagine if two groups of your blood cells didnt get along and started tearing up your heart in a blood war, how stupid would that be from the point of you as the human that hosted both groups of blood cells?

Same for humans how stupid is it we fight each other when we are all living in a shared environment.

This is one of the best threads I've seen come across ATS on this issue. Thank you for that. It restores a bit of hope we can all sort out the confusion - and rise above the hate.

May love and peace win out in all our hearts.

Not long ago, I tweeted this excellent thread on Twitter with this image…

It's doing very well, and getting lots of comments and retweets.

We need to stop all the hate and create world peace!

Since when was it considered acceptable to hate with impunity?

Cant we evolve past the us vs them mentality?

Teach our kids to be loving and not hateful souls for the divine is equally in all.

I have never believed that humans are born with hate. Hate trickles down to us from those that hate has trickled down into and so on... Humans must learn to hate. As children we have natural happiness, trust, curiosity, and fear. Fear does not equal hate; I feared the dark, I did not hate the dark. I was never taught hate any person for any reason. Throughout my life I have encountered people that I did not like for any number of reasons, but usually when something they did offended my security, or my moral viewpoint. I did not find the need to hate them. I think perhaps that I am not the kind of person that can find "love" for everyone, but I can find tolerance for nearly every human being no matter how far removed from my personal beliefs. Sometimes its just better to stay away from certain people. But as I aged I realized I am not so perfect either, and that probably there was someone standing in the room that didn't think too highly of me either. I am older now, and I always strive to understand the differences in people. I no longer think my way of thinking is right...it is just my way of thinking and everyone has theirs. Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to undo the corrosive thread of hate that now runs through humanity. I am not sure it is possible without something so catastrophic that it gets us all as one people, simultaneously, to see how much we have squandered because of so much hate. I certainly hope though, whatever it takes, it will one day happen. We can not IMAGINE the possibilities from that day forward...

Normal people are not the problem. It's the few extremely rich sociopath's that run the world.

Lets be completely realistic...

This will not change the mind of a Zionist...

Those inspiring photos will do nothing but cause them to froth at the mouth...

I especially liked the Jewish guy with the little Palestinian boy on his shoulders...
Everything about that picture epitomises your search for real Peace & true Love...

I could show you other pictures that are more popular to them though...
& they epitomise pure Hatred & undeniable Supremacy...

S&F.

Peace Shauny!

If one really wants to be honest, and the above was far from it.

The entire mid east has been the same snip. Different day. Different century. Different Millennia.

In the worlds longest, bloody Hatfield and McCoy blood feud.

Of course one could take it back even further when polytheism gave way to monotheism.

Now that was being honest.

I guess, upon reflection, this thread actually sort of pisses me off because it's insulting.

In every war and conflict you find people who love across the lines. It's natural and happens. Some of our best and most enduring literature is about just that - Romeo and Juliet. It is a common theme and thread, and yet, the premise of the this thread is that such a theme does not, cannot exist in specifically American society.

What a load.

No that was overly dramatic and hyperbolic...

You have no authority to say "the entire Middle East" nor to talk about centuries & millennia ago because you weren't there and cannot provide evidence for that statement.

Then again, maybe you could tell me what Asia was like centuries ago...
Or Africa...
Or the Americas...
Or Europe...

I suppose they were safe havens and a beacon for society?

No, your selective hyperbole is not welcomed when it is aimed in my direction.

None for you!

Nah, the real issue is, how do we remove the controllers of humanity that are likely not human, that make sure these insults to the Creator and ALL REALITY, known as RELIGIONS get forgotten in the blink of an eye.

Whomever uses human nature against itself has shown time and again to be operating from a different viewpoint.

We will answer this question soon, regardless.

The term "terrorist" is quite fluid by design.
Whatever moral or ethical lines the state is willing to breach to neutralize it's enemies can be easily extended to it's "friends".

So be careful what you wish for.

It's not about "enemies" it's about control of a population.

Israel controls Palestine through false flags
USA controls its own people with 9/11, the ghost of 9/11, and other false flags

At some point the PEOPLE need to realize the enemy isn't another country. Governments all across the globe have been waging war on the hearts and minds of their citizens for a long time. And it's all about two things:
1. Control
2. Money

That's it. By the way, great post and pictures Shauny!

You know it's getting really tiring seeing all these posts where people from other countries assume Americans are uninformed as if we don't travel, read the news paper ,have acces to the net or have television news! We are one of the most prosperous and well informed society's on the planet and just because we see things differently than our European brothers accros the ocean I don't thinks it's fair for everybody at ats going around saying Americans are stupid ,uninformed and watch Fox News all day! I will admit us Americans do see things differently that is why we left the old world and came to the new world because we had different goals and outlooks on life than Europeans that does not make is better but just see things differently!
