BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A health warning. The extremely contagious measles virus is back. An outbreak that started at Disneyland is starting to sweep the country.
Measles was thought to have been eliminated in the U.S. 15 years ago. Now its back, targeting those who haven’t been immunized.
The outbreak that started in California’s Disneyland is expanding. At least 75 cases of measles span six states.
“It’s scary to think the happiest place on Earth is infected with measles,” one Disney employee said.
For this Disney employee, knowing co-workers are infected is cause for concern.
Measles has a 21-day incubation period, meaning people can travel far before they know they’re sick.
San Diego County health officials confirmed Thursday that 13 new cases of patients with measles have emerged, all among people who reported visiting Disneyland on Dec. 18 or had close contact with someone who did. The new cases bring the recent total to 35 in the state of California and 39 throughout the U.S.
All but three of the new patients who caught the virus had not been vaccinated,
The California Department of Public Health has linked 42 of these cases to people who visited Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure Park.
Vaccination status is known for 34 of the California patients. State officials say that 28 were not vaccinated at all, one was partially vaccinated and five were fully vaccinated. Six of the unvaccinated were babies, too young to be vaccinated.

The anti-vax morons often have personal experiences to back them up. These people are irresponsible loafers looking for a free ride. Cough, spit, wheeze, as long as you're illegal you're not a health hazard.

I trust the many, many, many years of study into vaccines before the bull# sold by conspiracy theorists and sites like Natural News.

A self-certified chemical cocktail sold to you by a profit machine with 100% immunity from liability. And you trusted that?
