Iran buries general 'martyred' in Syria and vows Israel will pay

You guys remember the Iranian general killed by the Israeli airstrike in the Golan Heights near the border of Israel...? Well, now the Iranians are vowing revenge against Israel. Iran and Hezbollah with Syria and Palestinian militant groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad have formed a type of united front that they are calling an "axis of resistance" against US and Israeli influence in the region.

“This is our first martyred commander, who was killed directly with a Zionist bullet,” said the master of ceremonies in a prayer hall just inside the gate of an expansive IRGC base in eastern Tehran.

The IRGC commander, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, warned Tuesday that Israel faced “imminent collapse” and “should expect devastating thunderbolts; they have seen our anger in the past.”

He also said the fact that a senior Iranian officer was killed alongside Lebanon-based Hezbollah fighters, on a joint mission in the Golan Heights close to Israel’s border, “showed that the Islamic revolution has bypassed geographical borders and a unified Islamic front is established.”

This may just be loud talk and amount to nothing but if it does amount to anything then that could mean real problems for the already fragile relationship(s) between world powers. A war between Iran and Israel=a war between Russia and the US. Things are more complicated than X and Y when it comes to World politics. What says ATS?

Sometimes I wonder, if the entire Middle East was to get sucked into a giant sinkhole, would we miss them?

& given that they shouldn't have nuclear capabilities nor should they have any influence on the West.

Just their oil. Not to mention we would save quite a bit of money. But the war machine would have to find a new target to start a war with all the money we spend on defense it has to be used against somebody.

What else is new? Israel freely attacks who ever they deem is a threat and their victims always threaten with retaliation. Not much will come from Iran if history has shown us anything.

Exactly as long as America is Israel's boy when it comes to the ME Iran won't attack Israel and Israel knows it.

Those whom call them selfs Jews but are not, live and control the land of Israel and by that they have huge support in western world. I think them in west also knows they are not actual Jews but used the land grab as their advantage to create chaos in midd-east and top em countries one by one and they most likely know at least by now that in the end game there will be ww3 or something like that. These wars and chaos are not really needed but our dear leaders think so and they go great lengths to achieve just that. They are master minds of chaos, warfare, slavery thats what they know and does.
