Corrie's Deidre Barlow actress dies age 60

Anne Kirkbride, 60, died peacefully following a short illness.

I found this surprising.

She's been in Coronation Street forever, and I had the feeling she was a lot older than me, but only by a few years it turns out.

It's a young age to die these days and there's been nothing on the news about her being ill.

Not a fan of the show but RIP.

Havent really watched Corrie for a while now, but she was a familiar face to many across the UK.

60 is too young in this day & age to be honest.

Met her twice and she was lovely. Down to earth and a genuine nice gal.
Man those glasses from the eighties lol.

She had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma some years ago apparently. Perhaps her untimely death is related to this?
