The French have done a number of things to snub Israel in the last few months...

So that is a reasonable theory...

MOSSAD are one of the best in hacking and attacks, defensive & offensive!!!

But that's just a theory to your question of motivation for others...

Personally I think it's Muslims who do not care to hide the fact, & therefore they've chosen not to bounce the signal.

Mossad sure are shady. I don't know how many people are aware of the scandal that broke in New Zealand, little old insignificant and at the bottom of the world New Zealand after the Christchurch earthquake.

Mossad spies were caught doing God knows what red handed (I don't think the Govt though it was in the best interests of national security to let it out to the general public) and then slipped the country before the police could detain them.

But I still see no reason for them to be revving France up via a hack attack under the guise of the Islam world.

Yeah that definitely a possibility...

My money would be in Israel MOSSAD. (Striked because I don't feel like being labelled an anti-Semite)

France told Netanyahu they didn't want him at the Solidarity rally, and said if he comes they'll invite Abbas.
They've recently been pushing for recognition of Palestine as well.

France are definitely not in Israel's good books at the moment, despite the public facade that was put on recently.

So they'd be my second guess.

But what is the motivation for other nations to do this to France? The French people have already given the middle finger to the Jihadists. The Govt has already had a big crack down on terror suspects. Everyone in France is galvanised against terrorist acts - record sales the Charlie paper proves this.

I'm not disagreeing with you over the motivations behind doing such things. It is a show of solidarity of sorts.

There is a much bigger pattern of events forming here and I take this silly little cyber event on face value. I'm sure there were who simply jumped on the bandwagon for the sake of anarchy, but the underlying message is fairly clear.

I do agree with that, I just took issue with the blanket statement of having to worry about all Muslims as opposed to the 5 or 10 percent of them that need watching.

In hindsight, you were probably being sarcastic.

To me it's all about what you are accomplishing. I mean sure, you took down a few websites, you hacked some twitter accounts, just so you can say " hey look at us, we support you."

But Anon has been doing that on the opposite end for years and we either hail them as heroes or call them useless script kiddies and move on with our lives right?

That's sort of the attitude I was taking with this.

The Norse site is pretty cool. The USA and China are madly going one another on it, but all has gone quiet in France.....

Yeah Norse doesn't have all of it mapped, that would be impossible methinks, but a good portion of the attack traffic does show up on there. Lately it's been what looks like WWIII between the USA and Asia.

Yeah I forgot to put the *end sarcasm* bit in.

My view on Islam is that it is invasive and it does have an agenda, but in the words of our Prime Minister here in Australia when adressing the issue of Muslims and national security;

If a person loves this country of ours, they will do the right thing and provide us with information to help us stop these terror attacks before they happen.

In other words, if they do the right thing they will gain our trust and we will know they are not our enemy.

Straight to 'the Jews did it' ... ??? Naaah ... I'm not seeing the Mossad caring about messing with the local Pizza Parlors in France. And I doubt they'd go and plan an operation called 'I am not Charlie'. The Mossad are professionals and they are like freak'n ninjas ... stealthy and rather expert in what they do.

It has nothing to do with Jewishness...

It has everything to do with Mossadness...

What isn't expert about attacking pizza parlours to get people to think "why would they do that"...

For the very reason that people will say "why would they do that"...

& I'm not even an expert, but my common sense isn't too bad!

Irrelevent anyways because I think it was Muslim hackers with a few sympathisers around the Globe.

Edit: the post you replied to didn't even mention anything Jewish!

World-wide global crackdown on an open internet. After all, it for the best. Can't have the peasants thinking outside the box now can we. If you see the same kind of story in the media everyday, you already know they are going to reform it or at least try.

Maybe theyre mad the pizza delivery was late .. and they didnt get free pizza ..

Your comment reminded me of something I'd seen on NCIS or some program like that which, it turns out, is a repeated theme and which I suspect is very accurate. When the LEO's raid a terrorist cell headquarters, its literally full of empty pizza boxes. I saw somewhere one guy commented that the fastest way to track down a terrorist cell is to review Pizza store delivery records and figure out where they weekly deliver 30 or more boxes of pizza.

That got me to thinking. What's up with the love of pizza on the part of these terrorist types? Makes me wonder. Will one of the first thing the newly formed Islamic State Caliphate do is start openning up pizza shops across Syria and Iraq?

Is that how they're recruiting? "Come fight with us and you get endless FREE pizza!" Wait a minute...I see a counter strategy here!

What if the CIA could figure out the terrorists all-time most FAVORITE pizza? Then we could lure them into traps and cages with PIZZA!

Now that my friends is Genius at work!

I just don't understand why Muslims in Mexico or the Far East care that people in Paris are eating pizzas. Strange to hit the Pizza Parlors ...

And what is the motivation behind it? Why are they targeting France in particular and why is it the afforementioned Muslim nations only doing this?

Whys is Russia not involved? North Korea? China?

It's a show of solidarity from the Muslim world to the Jihadist attackers of the past week. As I've already said, the execution is amateur, but the statement is bold.

Could be an 18 year old kid from the UK attacking Sony instead of N. Korea.

news.sky.com...

They play a dangerous game throwing blame around.....that's how wars start.

Just why are the Mossad blamed in so many of these instances when none of it was ever proven to actually be Mossad? It seems a bit automatic almost... something bad happens, evidence points to Group X (who in some cases literally claim responsibility of whatever happened themselves) yet some almost reflectively go into ''it was probably Israel''-mode, no matter how crazy that would be. I wonder why?

Do the pizza shops serve pizza with bacon, pepperoni, etc?

Because if so....boom, hacking explained

I can tell you right now two restaurants in North Carolina that are owned by Muslims AND they serve bacon and sausage. Go figure.

Let me go way out on a limb here.....perhaps France should remove itself from the Ivory Coast and Senegal? Perhaps some of this is a direct result of France owning chocolate plantations and enslaving children.

I'm just going to say that France seems to find itself in some bad situations, such as they did in Vietnam, and can't handle the consequences. Just sayin'.

France has a lot of interest in North and West Africa, but I don't think people really know much about that.
