If you think for one minute that muslims can separate the two, we are in for a long sad demise.

It is a radical combination of Church and State, so what we are witnessing ("thank you", Obama, Pelosi, et al) is a nudge (Nudge Theory) toward something that will transform our nation as we know it.

BHO probably knows exactly what he's doing. I would guess the liberal fanaticism of Pelosi is her excuse. These people try to be so open-minded that they fail to keep their brains intact. They are destroying America one nudge at a time and calling it progress, when really, it's just the opposite.

Imagine a couple of generations from now when the Supreme Court might actually have some of these people sitting on the bench!! You may be dead and gone, but your great grandchildren may be suffering the consequences of it.

but it's about the only way I think that it could possibly even come close to happening... They'd have to bribe us like al quada did in afghanistan and well we'd have to be in about in a similar state as afghanistan when they made their move.

as far as the true economic condition of the country.. that is debatable and you page only talks about the debt our gov't has on it's books that is owes. What about the banking and investment industries playing around with their schemes?? But the muslims would be the last of our worries if it came tumbling down I agree.

As far as women's rights goes it more cultural than religious. In some Muslim nations they have the same rights men do in some nations they do not. Hell even here in the states women are not equal to men on average they are paid less than men for doing the same job. So until women are fully equal to men here in the states we shouldn't be complaining about other cultures.

Especially the wide scale RAPE we saw in Egypt recently.

There was wide scale harassment of women in Egypt not rape and there was also wide scale protests of these acts going on. The wide scale rape was in India.

We could do this all day, going amendment by amendment. The constitution is routinely violated & ignored. While I myself don't personally see sharia law, becoming a mainstream part of the U.S. Social & legal system ; It would be foolish to dismiss anything simply because The Constitution forbids it.

It will be a while before they can take over the country they will have to start with small steps.

For example:

Wyoming is the least populated state with about 576,412 people, the least populated county in Wyoming is Niobrara county with a population of about 2,480 people.it`s logical to assume that all of those people aren`t of voting age so,
2,000 voting muslims could take over every elected seat in that county, 500,000 muslims could easily take over every elected seat in the state government.

If 500,000 muslims seems like a lot keep in mind that there are approximately 6 million muslims in the U.S. To put that in perspective, the 7 least populated states combined has a total population of about 5.5 million people.
Theoretically muslims could easily take over every elected state position in the 4 least populated states.

They couldn`t change or amend the constitution with only 4 states but they could repeal laws and enact new laws that would be more favorable to their way of thinking. non muslims might find it very uncomfortable living with those laws and would leave.

They could refuse all federal funding for programs that benefit the poor or refuse to use any state funds to distribute those benefits which would cause a mass exodus of poor people into neighboring states.

I`m sure that there are a lot of state laws that they could enact that would be constitutional but would create havoc with the way the system currently operates.

This whole scenario relies on a HUGE set of assumptions. Namely that Muslims would ever combine in a concerted effort the effect you claim. That Muslims all share the same political ideologies. That all Muslims even WANT Sharia Law in this country.

By your same rationale, the atheist voter base stands a better chance of implementing their will since 6% of America is atheist which translates to about 18 million people. After all, all the atheists need to do is consolidate and organize to overrun districts.

Sooooo what is he going to do with the military? Ever heard of Posse Comitatus? And power over the Justice department is just power over the ability to enforce existing laws. Sharia Law isn't an existing law. How is he going to enforce that?

If he were to even TRY to use the Justice Department to enforce Sharia Law, Republicans would be drawing up impeachment paperwork within minutes. I mean how often do Republicans call to impeach Obama for flimsy reasons? Give them a REAL reason to do so, and they'd trample each other to sign off on it. Seriously, do you even know how the government's checks and balances work?
