That's one thing I love about metal. The sub-genres. I mean, how many music genres have so many sub-genres?

"They're symphonic black death!"

"No! They're Norwegian melodic black metal!"

"WE MUST KUNG FU FIGHT!"

Maybe I'm just 'that' dip#, but I feel like somewhat overly descriptive subgenre titles can be useful when describing a band that uses a more complex blend of sounds and styles. That being said, it can get a bit ridiculous...
