Pretty disappointed in the selection of "greatest" 9/11 threads. But I suppose it is par for the course here. How many members did this site have before 9/11?

I'm trying to focus on threads that began with original analysis and content, or that evolved into a very collaborative thread based on a solid premise. There's not much of that in the 9/11 forum -- unfortunately.

Also, a lot of the top-flagged threads rely on images and videos that are no longer hosted at their original source.

That really is a good thread. It helps explain how it was even possible to plant an inconceivable cover story and give it all the conceivable credentials. Then socially adapt a large enough population - with "cultural buzz" - that all conspiracy theories are inconceivable and not taken serious by "serious" people.

I do agree with you though, there never were many "good" topics on 9/11. No accusation ever came to fruit. It seems to me though that if such a system of manipulation, illustrated in the thread you posted, could have been operating to push the OS of 9/11, it would be pretty difficult to cultivate a "good" thread.

Two lapsed members renewed their membership just to come onto the
thread! The thread was closed and reopened twice mostly due to the
sock puppets and trolls who came on the thread committing T&C offences
in desperation to kill the thread.
