Ten years ago today, after some significant efforts to improve the ATS technology infrastructure and site functionality, we began to see a significant increase in traffic and new members to our beloved community. To celebrate that occasions, I and several of our staff have combed the archives and our memories to find what we think are the most amazing topics our members have created. While there are threads that have garnered more replies or flags than some of these listed below, we tried to focus on topics that were:
(1) Unique to ATS: completely original content.
(2) The opening post provided a compelling alternative analysis of news
(3) The thread, as a whole, is a compelling collaborative analysis of news

These are what we found. Feel free to add to our list to create a complete repository of some of the best content found anywhere online.

We even included three of the more interesting HOAX threads, primarily because of the way everyone collaborated on proving the hoax.

I spoke to an extremely reliable source who told me that the huge new hangar at Groom Lake is for a Mach 6 hypersonic UCAV that has spun off from the hypersonic Falcon project. The source told me that this is to be a system that will have both ISR and attack versions and it is being made at Lockheed's Skunk Works. Support equipment has already arrived at Groom Lake along with operator flight sim workstations, etc.

I have a very different view that some here I think will share, I think we human beings (the supposed pinnacle of life evolution) are “part” of a larger organism much like the bacteria living inside our sentient bodies.
