LOL

star

You know what, I think I will. Any ideas on how to depict him?

And could anyone besides the site administrators/owners trace

my identity?

I guess so.

Perhaps if I do a cartoon, I could somehow anonymously have it

given out, you know- like people putting out flyers.

This subject is already being debated on the news, so why not.

imo actions like you suggest just put more pressure on other people already in hiding because of past actions. Like the person who started that day to draw big mo. There are others like matt and trey that have to live life looking over their shoulder.

I think a sustained effort of pointing out what we believe are erors in their beliefs will have a better effect in the long run. Like the degrading of women and several other hr violations.

The childish act of nana booboo will not persuade anyone to see errors in their ways. It will have the opposite of the desired effect.

The only way to get respect is through forcing someone to give it or by earning it.

You mean disrespecting Sunni Muslims. Shia Muslims have no such proclivity's regarding Muhammad's image being depicted.

I never said that. You did
Not sure what your point is

I wouldn't put cartoons of Muhammad up. I don't try to piss people off just because I feel the need to do so. The only thing you can do now is fight for your streets and you only have yourselves to blame for it. I bet you thought it was funny at the time but failed to do some macro thinking. You want it to stop but you fail to take the steps to a peaceful solution. Well, now you will fight. Do I sympathize with the killers? Hell no, but I'm not naive as to why you have your problem either.

Politically correct is only moral if you don't live up to your own standards. You have a responsibility to society. That means you should think about what your actions are going to cause. Is it right? No, it's not. Are you better than that? Doesn't look like it to me.

Oh wait up, I'm not done yet. It's time for Islam to get some truth. You come to another country, you leave your BS in the country you came from. If you cannot do that, get to steppin. If you hurt or kill here, we're going to terminate you. We don't care how you did it in where ever you're from. No, we are not going to make Sharia law the law here. You will be tried under this countries laws. You conform to our values or don't come here. We are not changing anything for you, ever.

Close the borders, you dumb asses.

Oh ya...let's see. Poke fun and bring more anger to a religious people as a whole- over a the actions of a few random folks who are extreme....For "freedom". Sure.

Look kid...

1) Drawing Mohammed is an insult to many people. Why must you want to anger those people? For what reason? To be a troll? To be a jerk? To protest a murder?

2) South Park already started a "Draw Mohammed" day that resulted in an entire extremist community proclaiming our children will suffer for this for decades to come. Nice...people like you poking sticks into the mouths of maniacs...feeling like that's helping. Gee...that's great.

3) No. Drawing Mohammed is not only stupid. It is also an insult to countless individuals and should be seen as trying to get people killed.

Here is the end all fact...anyone drawing Mohammed is the person who pulled the trigger.

In short...YOU draw Mohammed and people die...you are the murderer.

Or at least largely responsible.

Last time this happened, millions of American idiots rushed to the internet to create a mock-holiday called "Draw Mohammed Day". And why? A South Park cartoon inspired them.

Radicals have sworn to kill for this...and they are the types that will stick to the plan for decades to come.

People are so stupid...

Leave Mohammed alone. You are playing with fire that takes many lives...and for what? The joy of trolling?

When your parents, you and your children end up headless on a highway...will you trumpet your "freedom earned" by drawing Mohammed? No...you will be seen as a victim by fools, instead of being seen correctly- as an uneducated western-minded" individual with barbaric desires to anger extreme folks who want to harm us.

You gain nothing from drawing Mohammed. Not freedom. Not justice. Nothing. It insults and bothers many people who are innocent and care nothing for terror.

Its bad taste and its disgusting.

AND anyone trying to orginize a group "Mohammed drawing adventure"- as far as I can see is one of two things.

1- Stupid.

or

2- Working for a government that provokes terror attacks with intent.

What are you?

I, do not share the belief that a god can not be depicted for whatever purpose. Any God.

I am not required to respect religious belief. Any religious belief.

Which is different then respecting other people's rights to their religious belief. No one is being denied right of belief.

Go back to your cave...freedom of speech in a democracy isn't about ones belief...
it's about freedom to express personal thoughts and views...good or bad.

Yes of course but it depends how their Prophet is depicted
Same goes with all religions

My opinion is ... It is unwise to provoke others
The old saying "Agreeing to disagree" is apt

Cave? No.

Freedom of speech?

Who is the cave man here?

One with no intent to provoke murders? Or "idiots" drawing Mohammed to anger extremists with no clear intent other than to provoke them"?

This isn't about freedom or rights or free speech. This is "narcissistic idiots addicted to cartoons and trolling" feeling as if they draw Mohammed they are achieving some heroism.

No...its not heroic or "freedom" to do such. Its stupid.

None of you would be drawing Mohammed either way...until of course media makes you think "oh that's cool to do! let's do it!".

I rather live in a cave, then exist in such a 2 dimensional way.

To be very clear...rational people do not "draw Mohammed".

Educated people do not draw Mohammed.

And surely- only idiots draw Mohammed.

And those idiots get innocent men women and children killed...for what? a broken idea of western freedom. YOU HAVE NO FREEDOM....and if you are indoctrinated by media to draw Mohammed- you also have no freedom of thought.

Cause and effect. You have the right to print cartoons like that. Don't cry when you don't like the ramification of doing it. You stir the beehive and you might get stung. I mean, think a couple moves ahead. If I called you asshole in the bar, would you be mad? Do I have a fight coming? I sure do. You will never understand their mindset. Me either. I'm not adding fuel to the fire. When they bring that # to my neck of the woods, they won't know my mindset either. It's not pretty. All I can honestly say is I'm not stoking the fires. I'll let the stupid media do so and live with their freedom of speech by arming myself. #ing sad as it is, it is.

actually it is about having the lawful right to do something and that is not in question here. What is in question here is the amount of legal demoralizing one will take before they decide to break the law in an effort to silence the legal rights of others.

Example is that we all have set certain personal bounderies and not all of our bounderies are recognized to be unlawful to break. So the question then becomes how far will some people go to defend their bounderies? The answer is simply that many people will go as far as murder to defend their bounderies regardless of what laws they break. Solution is to try to respect others bounderies. You get what you give.

The thought that simply because something is legal means you can or should do it regardless of others is false.

We should draw Jesus, at least it won't result in a case of death, or the End of Days. Just a bunch of nagging, which would make one wish that the end of days would happen.

It'd be like asking God, just to shoot me down with his fathers merciless mercy. lol.

Is "not drawing Mohammed" putting your head in the sand?

Is "not drawing Mohammed" removing something from your life?

As another poster above you stated- this is not about should it be legal or illegal to draw Mohammed. It's about the clear stupidity of doing so.

The only reason one would draw Mohammed is to provoke more anger and more killing. This isn't about freedom of speech, since your speech would never seek to "draw Mohammed" if a TV show didn't provoke you into doing it.

This is about offending "innocent people" and "provoking crazy murderous ones". Why would you wish to do either? There is not one single "intelligent" reason to do such.

The only people seeking to draw Mohammed are oblivious types who seek to anger others for attention or trolling points.

And it is stupid. Very very stupid.

It can also get others killed. Its fine if it only got you killed (after you drew Mohammed). But it can and will get others killed. In retrospect do you think the cartoonist who was killed- would return to say "I'd do it again" if he was still alive today?

No...he would have learned his lesson. That trolling and provoking maniacs is not wise.

This is not about laws or freedoms. This is about intent and lack of intelligence and/or wisdom.
