My wife's sister is getting married in February and I am wondering if any members can recommend things for me and my wife to do while we are in LA for the week.

Little pricey, but worth it if you can afford it -Disneyland and California Adventure. It's not just for kids... It is very adult-oriented as well.

Medieval Times is cool.

Manhattan Beach is beautiful. So is Huntington Beach, but it's pretty crowded.

See the Met Museum.

The Lion King play, if you like the theatre.

The Hollywood sign isn't that cool.

Grace Community Church in Sun Valley has good preaching (John MacArthur).

Universal City Walk is pretty cool. Lots of good shops.

I'm from Boston, Lakers are the enemy! My wife would not approve. Good suggestion though.

Rent a convertible and cruse Mulholland drive. Stop at Franklin Canyon Park along the way and hike in the middle of LA. Might run into someone famous.

Spend a day at Santa Monica Pier and walk the boardwalk.
Ditch everyone and go cruise the Pacific Coast Highway. Head towards Malibu.
The Getty Museum is a great place to chill.
Plan your trips right because you might spend the day in traffic. Not as bad as Boston traffic but the 405 is a parking lot.

All great suggestions, I'd love to hit the pier. I have a car, one of her family members is so excited I am coming they said I could use their car while we are there.

Travel down to San Diego and go to the Zoo.

Drive the Pacific Coast Highway.

Go to Beverly Hills / Rodeo Drive.

Pacific coast highway is something I want to do, I just don't know how possible it will be on this trip, since it's about family. Awesome idea though.
