Fair enough..

If you are so full of love for cops why don't you change the title of this thread vs the sensationalist fabrication you used?

Hey I do try to have love for everyone, and I didnt fabricate anything.

If you have more information to share on the bubble cop please do share. From what I have learned since the thread has been up is she was later charged with, "CONSPIRICY" which rings false to me. Just doesnt add up, first the bubbles then, "CONSPIRICY" to commit some crime. Note she didnt do the said crime she was conspiring to do, whatever it was, sounds like pre-crime to me. Sounds fake to be arrested for a crime she didnt physically commit.

So people here actually believe that someone blowing bubbles at a person is a valid reason to beat them to the point of hospitalization? Truly sad.

I know right, now that is criminal type thinking! I suggest never assulting a woman, or anyone for that matter, its just wrong.

The target of Constable Josephs's lawsuit isn't the original video, but a series of cartoons posted on YouTube over the following weeks that depict a policeman resembling the officer engaging in various acts of police abuse of power.
In his statement of claim, Constable Josephs alleges the cartoons have subjected him to ridicule, and have resulted in threats against himself and his family. He also seeks to compel YouTube to reveal the identities of the person who created and posted the cartoon - identified by the moniker "ThePMOCanada" - and the identities of several people who posted comments in response...

The animations in question depict a policeman identified as "A. Josephs" arresting various people - including Barack Obama and Santa Claus - and beating up a news photographer while funk music plays in the background.

LOL.

No your fabricating or lying saying that I fabricated the title of the thread. So your the fabricator here not me, some many hours after the thread started more information came out about the cops saying she was arrested on some type of odd CONSPIRICY charges, most likely because bubble charges wouldnt stick, that may somehow change things but I dont think it really does, since they came up with the charges after she blew bubbles in thier general direction, meaning they just came up with a random reason to appease MR Bubbles.

Try taking your own advice

I suggest you yourself deny ignorance and do just a bit more research before you give everyone the shaft like that.

You saw the link I posted that stated her arrest was unrelated to the bubbles. You later posted the same link in a pathetic effort to show she was arrested for blowing bubbles.

Again

She was arrested later for an incident unrelated to the bubbles, and has been charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

Here's some more research you could have done to see that you're wrong

This blog was writen by my The Real News colleague Jesse Freeston

... I wish Winkels' arrest could be chalked up to one officer's absurd overreaction to bubbles. The truth, unfortunately, is that Winkels probably would have been arrested that day regardless of her bubbles.

... As for Winkels, now released she faces charges of 'Conspiracy to Mischief.' According to her, the charges were pressed after medical supplies were discovered in her bag.

There's a lot about this whole situation that could be discussed reasonably, and probably has been. This story is years old.

Please stop with the "Arrested for blowing bubbles" meme. It's not true.

Except she wasn't arrested for blowing bubbles and your thread title says that she was.
Regardless of what you feel she was arrested for you can't just make up a title because it fits the message you are trying to get across.

From the source that DenyObfuscation listed... "Winkels was one of roughly twenty to be arrested, while dozens more were detained for more than two hours. "

Walk up to random people on the street and blow bubbles in their face..
After you get out of the hospital from someone hitting you let us know what their responses are.

If I did that I where I live would probably get the "Piss off Idiot!"response from my local cops, and civilians, and fair enough I would deserve it if folks were offened by bubbles-but lets face it,the girl in the vid was not being offensive at all.

I wouldn't be threatened with arrest for assault in the UK though.
More likley the cops would laugh at me,and say I was being a fool.

I am not having a dig,its just an observation.

The girl wasn't arrested for blowing bubbles so the whole premise for this thread is moot.

Additionally if some random person walked up to me and blew bubbles in my face I would get mad but walk away because life is too enjoyable for me right now to screw it up over some clown.

The thing is there are plenty of people in the world that don't have an enjoyable life and would respond with physical force on this lady. Do it any place where there are tough guys with liquid courage and the % of those that would respond aggressively would increase.

What on earth are going on about? She was arrested for wait for it. . . . . . .Blowing bubbles, then and only then did they search her bag, not the other way around. Then she was charged for, 'Conspiracy to Mischief' what the heck is that? She had medical supplies? What? Medical supplies? Like what kind of medical supplies get you arrested? Did they have X-Ray vision to find this medical contraband? No she was blowing bubbles, so they arrested her then searched her belongings, they didnt like what they found in her bag and wont even be specific about it, do you know what specific medical items they were? I dont, but reguardless of what they were she was arrested for the bubbles, then given a 'Conspiracy to Mischief' reason for the arrest, which doesnt hold up to logic. What on earth does, Conspiracy to Mischief even mean? She was planning on blowing more bubbles . . . . . .

My guess is what he is going on about is the truth and not your opinion of the story but I know that you are not interested in hearing the truth on this matter.

I do have a question were the other 19 people that day they arrested also taken in for blowing bubbles?

Honestly, bubbles aren't really even that safe for children to be playing with...
Detergent is not only an irritant, but it leaves a film behind if not washed off. Hence the fact that it used to be used in weapons manufacture where you want a substance to 'stick' to the enemy. Detergent contains all sort of wonderful stuff all by itself including lye and glycerin (anyone here seen “Fightclub”?). Then you couple that with it being about 98% water, which can have any number of chemical or biological nastiness diluted into it.

Go work at a hospital, an airport, or for a cleaning company and read the Hazmat sheets on detergents.

'Bubbles' is most likely ex-military, and probably knows this stuff, which the younger looking female officer didn't.
Are Bubbles Toxic
Now again, this link above is only talking about the detergent under safe conditions, its not talking about what a malicious person could add to the mixture to make it worse.

I have technical sound issues right now so i only heard the first 30 seconds but he did say he would arrest her for assault right?!?!

Since assault is defined as a threat to cause bodily harm or to actually cause bodily harm then I can see no reason why this would ever stand up in court.

A bubble can't cause bodily harm nor can the threat of it.

It would be interesting to follow this story to see how the girl's arrest is defined in court.

This 'cop' is deluded with an ego bigger than the problem of ego-driven cops in the US.

By the way you get police officers just as egotistical in the UK, they just usually aren't dumb enough to be filmed while being a top end twat to members of the public they swore to protect. UK police don't like being filmed and this is why.
