Does the FBI/CIA monitor this website?

As website claims, do intelligence agencies like the FBI, CIA, or NSA monitor this website, even better, are many of our members on here FBI/CIA agents? Just some food for thought, I am not accusing anyone of anything, but it would be hard for me to believe that those agencies do not monitor this website. And if they do, are a lot of the topics regulated so we can only see specific amounts of information? Don't get me wrong, I have learned a tad bit perusing through the website, but I still have my doubts about many things, such as this. Its just my natural human curiosity kicking in. Hope all is well all.

Why would they bother monitoring this website? Nut cases with bombs are not going to advertise their intentions. It's the quite one you gotta look out for...lol

If I recall (and I could be wrong), the last thread that even hinted at this was 404'ed rather quickly.
Some subjects - even those that are pretty much a given, are kind of discouraged.
A good discussion might be, why so?

Time will tell, but I hear the clock ticking on this one.

Some of them might be members...undercover...no one would really know who they are.

If TPTB look in on everyone else...yeah...I think they look in on us from time to time.

No one knows who they are nor can prove they are really here or not.

I would think so, It would be stupid not too because this website is full of valuable intel....This forum has a lot of smart people that solve world problems.

You need to realize not all intentions of the CIA/NSA/FBI are bad. Right now people are focused on the bad things they do but not the good. There is a balance to everything. They can use their power for Good or Bad.

There's not as many of us as you'd think. The pay is low and there's just not that many real facts being passed along here.

I'm sure this site is monitored no more or less than any other conspiracy site and unless someone comes right out with a threat toward some govt official, we get passed over like all the rest.

This is an old old, very repeated question on ATS.

Short answer: Of course they do.

They would be stupid not to.

The White House monitors it too.

I've seen ideas and memes on ATS, that either the Pres or admin used/ or that the Pres or admin said was a bad idea before it got into the mainstream media.

Don't be paranoid, but don't be stupid either, ATS is monitored by a lot of the 3 letter agencies, even ISIS (I've seen replies to posts that have to be from ISIS, no one else could be so dense and naively evil).

ATS is not a "secret" site, it is an open site, with a lot of good ideas generated
and a lot of conspiracy theory exposed long before they are anywhere near mainstream.

So always be wise as a snake

Since we have members here from all over the world and from all sorts of professions, I'd imagine there's a CIA/FBI/NSA employee or two.

For the most part, the only "regulation" I've seen, such as threads being closed, has been due to terms & conditions violations or otherwise inappropriate conversation, such as rampant personal insults and accusations.

Now as for whether or not there has ever been large-scale psychological manipulation from government agencies, corporations, political groups etc etc, or certain members acting as paid (or unpaid) shills who band together to direct the course of certain discussions is a whole other question. The answer to that question, in my opinion, would be "probably".

Yes and also worth noting is that ATS happens to be run out of Langley Virginia which coincidentally is the location of CIA headquarters and most of their owners, administrators and mods are freemasons!
