The atmosphere is full of organic gases (oxygen, nitrogen, etc) and is full of air which always has some motion (even still weather has convection currents, mechanical waves, etc). The body is full of organic compounds (blood, muscles) that hardly ever stop moving unless you're dead. Won't the device keep on alerting for possible alien life forms everywhere?

New Microscopic Motion Detector Could Find Alien Life: Says NBC News
-Swiss inventors just invented a new way to find alien life in a groundbreaking a super efficient way. It's similiar to a motion detector that's sensitive to motion unlike others which focus mainly on finding organic chemistry. This same device is also making it's way to the hospitals and doing things you never would've even thought it would do. The mechanical nanosensor can also detect cancer cells or nasty bacteria. Not only can it diagnose more efficiently, but it also helps during check-ups to see if your cancer treatment is effective and killing off nasty unwanted cancer cells.
