I am not saying it was or wasnt god, could have been either. However I think we may not be alone in the universe and more advanced intelligent life may be out there, and may have been here before. Not saying that other more advanced civilizations were or are considered gods, but they could have been here at some point in earths history. Thats what the whole ancient alien theory is all about, trying to uncover if ancient people had contact with other worlds.

Now I like what you said about god/gods being the painters and the physical world being the canvas, and brings to mind other dimentions which may influence our physical world and vice versa. Our entire universe could have been created by a race of astral beings of some sort living in an astral heaven like world with godlike powers.

The whole Tower Of Babel story which if true, makes me think of ancient technologies and an ancient advanced civilization here on earth. As to why an ancient civilization would have ever been destroyed is still a mystery to me.

Heracleion wasn't flooded. It ended up on the ocean floor as a result of an earthquake and due to liquification of the silt the city was built on. It was built on several adjoining small islands and not really the most stable area with the earthquakes that tend to hit along the Mediterranean coast.

Are you trying to imply that the end of the Last Glacial Maximum resulted in all of the ice sheets simultaneously melting across the whole of the northern hemisphere, dumping the melt water into the oceans therefore causing an immediate flood and raising of sea levels virtually overnight?

The ice sheets melted in stages over several thousand years allowing any humans living in coastal areas to move out of the way long before the sea rose to a level of inundation. Sure, there are many archaeological sites currently under water but they didn't get that way in one quick and major flood event.

Sea levels rise, yes, but keep in mind that land also sinks. Including parts of entire continental plates.

Just because there are a number of sites beneath the waves it doesn't mean that it Is the end result of one massive world wide flood. Especially one that according to the bible, submerged all the worlds mountains. Additionally, there were no cities at the end of the last LGM.

The Spirit of Life (God) does not destroy; so no it wasn't God. It was probably false gods ( or some type of alien race) .

Considering god may be more than we think, it is possible that gods angels were responsible. . .. .

Sounds to me like some ancient cosmic war type of stuff was going on back in the day.

Well considering that there may have been ancient wars between worlds an alien civilization may be responsible for the destruction of the ancients.
