Thank God. The idea of a gunship without a 105 makes me sad. I don't care what anyone says about PGMs, nothing will ever replace flaming death from C-130s. Except maybe flaming death from a C-17.

Oh yeah, its always fun refueling C-130's with 20 degrees of flaps and a 300 foot per minute decent just so they can stay on the boom...

If it makes you feel better, we are firewalled on the throttles the entire time, except for every 5 minutes when we cycle the throttles out of max power for like ½ a second to comply with the tech data that say we can only set max power for 5 minutes.
Do you booms ever get annoyed hearing us call the TIT to the pilot all the time?
