Lately I've been reading 2 novels that could seem very different. The Grapes of Wrath and 1984, but as I was reading this I began to see connections. Proles and workers, the struggle for independance and freedom. I'm not a very good reader myself, and I was wondering if anyone else had any insight into possible connections in the novels, because something is just sticking in my mind that I cant get out.
