Allow me to start off by saying HELLO ATS COMMUNITY!

And secondly, I would like to thank everyone who has ever contributed anything on this wonderful site, and entertained so much of my time. I have been a creeper of this site since late 2008, gradually becoming more and more curious to the minds and wonders that can be found here.

I have to admit, this is the first time I have EVER joined a forum, so please take it a bit easy on me.

A little about me:

I am Canadian, mid-20's, soon to be married, and I am an electrician for special events and concerts. I have a passion for space, plants/animals, and just anything that can fascinate my mind. Whenever something new is discovered I am overcome with feelings of wonder and curiosity.

I've also done TONS of research on the freemasons, as my grandfather is a 32nd on the Scottish Rite, as well as a Royal Jester and a Shriner. He has told me many things about them, from King Solomon and the ancient traditions, up to the charities and donations they do right now. I've even talked to him about the things I've read on here. I will even be joining them in 2015, for which I am quite excited!

It might take me some time to get used to posting forum style, as I'm more of a talker than a typer. But I will do my best!

Can't wait to get involved in some great discussions and share my ideas with everyone! Thanks for your time.

Welcome. Typing is like talking, only with your fingers. Your OP on this thread is well written, coherent, and you put many good points into actual sentences (so you are already head-over-heels over many forum posters on other sites, not ATS, where everyone is literate, kind, and full of caring for their fellow citizens of the world - actually that is more true here than on many sites, so, yeah). Welcome, and share with us things you think we should know, and ask any questions you've always (or recently) wanted the answer too. Thanks for choosing Air ATS.

It is literally the only site I even go to for news. I sometimes look at the mainstreams for eye grabbing headlines, but if I want some good content and discussion to indulge myself with, ATS is the place to be!

You wouldn't believe his reaction to some of the stuff I've told him about. That's not to say it is not all true, but there are many things he has told me about that I have never seen on here, and there are many things I've seen on here which he has never heard about. I look forward to discussing all that I know!

Thank you for your kind words! And I am well aware of the great etiquette and standards here at ATS. That may very well be the reason I have visited it as much as I do, seeing so much intelligence and dedication towards their words and ideas. I only hope I can keep up to par and contribute enough to make others wonder as I have myself. I will do my best to share and ask.

What can I say ?

Welcome to your new obsession

You've already been around a while so no need to give you any newbie advice, so jump in there and don't be afraid to make a fool yourself, ATS has a habit of making you feel like this occasionally

Don't sweat it we've all been there LOL

And you might need to get used to this as well

See you around boards and remember to have fun.

Cody

A lot of self control, and a bit of shyness.

I do have a slight fear of facing ridicule, but I guess that is something I will have to face if I want to have any sort of impact here!

Unless you come bearing maple syrup and bacon, we can't be friends. Sorry.

Just kidding

I'm sure the time will come when I get a few laughs at my expense, but I guess that is all part of the learning process!

As a starter on that note: I have no idea how to put pictures in a thread as you have just done!

Looking forward to future discussion with you and everyone else!

That's a vital piece of info to leave out. In that case, you are most welcome. Like more welcome than anybody else

Depends on whether you throw monkey wrenches or candles into the room.

Some prefer to remain in the dark.

If you bring light into the room you'll also need emotional armor.

Welcome to the room!

It's easy mate

Upload, the picture you want to your desktop.

Look at the your bar on the top of your page, 5th from right is a down arrow, click it.
From the new bar click "upload"

Then click the green cloud with the up arrow, click select files and find the picture.
Then click upload
Said picture will appear in your uploaded folder, click on it and you have 3 options, the top option is the one you need to highlight, and copy, e.g. [ pic]kl54a00f96.jpg[/pic ]

Once highlighted and copied simply paste in the post you wish to use it in.

You have unlimited picture storage on ATS, I'm one of the avatar artists here and my uploads total in the thousands, so no worries there.

OK now that's as clear as mud get on and give it a go.

Any questions feel free to ask

Cody
