a reply to: jacygirl .. realistic and after being run through the wringer learned my lesson .. besides with my p.t.s.d and being a cynical old bastard set in my ways am not an easy person to live with .. but underneath the gruff exterior will admit to still being bit of a romantic and glad to see it work for others .. ( even today being grown my adopted kids - the older four vietnam war orphans still call me by my former rank dai-uy / captain rather than by name or dad ) ..
Besides never pass up an opportunity for a good party ..

Maybe he trying to calm his nerves .. admitting ones feelings can be rather nerve wracking ..
