No it will not be massive but the timing of holiday will strain them more than expected. I do not see many half days on christmas eve.

You know there are other channels on there than just FN, right? The most popular package comes with over 150 channels. Secondly, while FN has the most popular news programming, what percentage of the whole TV market do they hold? Looks to me that DTV has the leverage here. I don't see too many "change overs".

Liberal Media strikes again, this time dumping Fox News & Fox Business over a 'contract dispute'
Of course, Dish says its over increased fees over their other channels.
Now I know all you libs here on ATS will say good, theyre are right wing, a gossip channel, whatever. EVERY SIDE has to be allowed to give their side of the story. I DO NOT like having only ONE SIDE to the story.
I'm glad I have Time Warner Cable, where you can still watch Fox, and Direct TV still carries it

lol and FOX replies that they are just trying to pay for the increases in healthcare fees because of the repercussions of obama care

I dunno, you'd think conservative people wouldn't be upset -- it's capitalism at work!

Like many here, I watch Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc regularly. We absorb news from multiple sources, trace facts, and come to our own conclusions. I don't have DISH, I piggyback my cable (internet app) off of my father's cable since I can't really get too much U.S. TV in Japan.
But I like to watch Fox. It's get to get multiple angles on any one story.

Oh don't get me wrong I get news from Social Media as well. I like absorb info from multiple sources, just explaining that not everyone who watches Fox News should be labelled a rabid conservative.
I apologize if I took the incorrect meaning from your post. Most who rail on Fox News do so because they believe anyone who watches it must be some raving neo-con. If that was not your intent I wholeheartedly apologize.

Well, I didn't label anyone anything, and I don't appreciate the implication that I did.
