Tis the season to pop the popcorn and snuggle close on the sofa basking in the glow of the Christmas tree whilst you partake in every festive entertainment tidbit the networks have to offer.
Yes I know it's been going on since November 1 actually.
So far I swear I have watched 25 different movies at least, mostly made for TV, low budget. There is a few that are a must see every single year. or it doesn't feel like Christmas.
Home Alone 1&2, Christmas with the Kranks, and The Santa Clause.
One I have never seen is ELF, not a Will Farrel fan.
For the first time this year, embarrassed to say at my age, I actually watched both It's a Wonderful Life, and White Christmas.
Two new ones this year, if anyone is looking for something new to watch...
MERRY FRIGGIN CHRISTMAS

A MUST SEE!!!!

And for those with children looking for a new fun family movie,
NORTH POLE

This one was fun to watch with my kids and it really brought the spirit of the holiday into our house.
One that I have not seen in many years, but was always a favorite-
SANTA CLAUS- THE MOVIE

So ATS, what do you watch every year?

there is only one mandatory movie to watch during xmas,
And i am sure most of the ATS crowd knows the established rules.

Keep him away from light. especially sunlight.
Don't give him water.
no matter how much he cries, no matter how much he begs, never feed him after midnight.

Definitely have to watch A Christmas Story - that one is the best! I also love the oldies like It's a Wonderful Life and The Bishops Wife. I always watch some version of A Christmas Carol. The last few years, I have watched Love Actually, because... well, I'm a girl and what's better than romance during Christmastime?

My favorite holiday move is a 1949 movie titled: Holiday Affair starring Robert Mitchum and Janet Leigh. It is a romantic comedy...and just makes me feel warm, cozy and happy.

If you haven't seen this one...give it a try.

Oh yeah, I love to watch all the corny Christmas cartoons, like Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph. Those just remind me of my childhood, so they give me a warm, cozy feeling. And Charlie Brown Christmas makes me cry, every single time I watch it.

White Christmas - technicolor was so pretty.

Always makes me want to find an old ski lodge like the one in Vermont, but haven't found one yet.

Merry Christmas and Happy Everything!

I'll be watching 'A Christmas Story' on Christmas. But as for the 'marathon' part, I'll be watching the Walking Dead marathon over the New Years holiday. Three days of Walking Dead. Awesome!!

Those are a MUST. If I can't feel like a kid again, then what's the point of Christmas?
