Once the Republicans take control of Congress peace will break-out all over the world. All U.S. military actions and drone strikes will stop. ISIS will disband. Civil unrest will immediately end in the U.S. Corporations and big banks will become moral compasses and will begin housing the homeless and feeding the hungry. Taxes on all of us will be dramatically lowered. Everything will be unicorns and Skittles in the U.S. from then on. I know this is true because bunches of ATSers have told me so...

i predict that 99.21 % of " 2015 predictions " will fail

My predictions for 2015 -
1) The 2014 predictions will be disproven by midnight Dec. 31st
2) There will be no significant decrease in the amount of bull feces spread by the media barons to sensationalise otherwise meaningless goings on.
3) Repeat ad nausea into 2016 and beyond.

2014 predictions are already 5 hours out of date - if they hadnt happed before you even posted - they were in the fail bin

You must have access to a different ATS . The one I get is exactly the opposite. Mine insists that we're in the toilet and God has his hand on the flush lever.

I predict that on Dec. 31, 2015, somebody will make a thread called "Predictions for 2016" and we'll look back on this thread and see that few if any of the predictions came true, except mine.

I predict at least 3 more people will come to this thread and say they predict none of the the predictions will come true.

Anyways:

2015!!

I think there will be another big oil spill this year,
but it will involve a tanker, much like the Exxon Valdez.

I don't like this one, and it could follow into 2016, but I will list it as 2015.
Ozzy Osbourne will become seriously ill.
Pneumonia, or some other sort of respiratory illness,
and I don't think he will make it.

The Pacific Northwest will experience a major Earthquake.
Seattle, and Vancouver, and farther into Southeast Alaska, also south into Northern Oregon.


A last spring snowstorm will roll through the country in late April dropping over a foot of snow and serious ice problems in the southern States. It will be one of the worst on record.

Gas prices will drop down to around 1.50 a gallon before steadily climbing back up by late September. By that point it will be back to 3 bucks a gallon.

Russia/US relations will continue to decline.
No wars, just bad relations and typical cold war tactics on both sides.

Terrorism will keep increasing. I had a dream last year that someone was going door to door and killing people in apartment buildings and homes in the US. A new form of terrorism, one that scares everyone.

Much more rain in California this year, helping to end the drought.
The gaming industry will get a major boost come summertime from something no one expects.

The US economy will continue to get stronger,
but I worry about another sucker punch like a 9/11 event that will attempt to derail the economy.

But no, no world ending events,
and nothing really changes this year as far as the road we are traveling down.
We continue down this path, for better or for worse,
the world will stay functionally dysfunctional.

I also think (hopefully I'm wrong) that Muhammad Ali will not be with us in 2016.

Exactly. I myself looked over the one created last year for predictions for 2014. The only one to come true was the one that said the republicans would take the Senate.
The rest were, well read this thread. They were pretty much the exact same predictions last year. So yeah I'm with you on the behavior of ATS members come next Dec 31st. Too bad no one would take bet on it...
