ATS contest donation banner?

Hi all creatives in here . It's been awhile that I've been in this section.
but reading about ATS needing some financial backup from our members got me thinking .
As some of us know that due to all the heavy DDoS attacks the costs of maintenance are rising to keep this site up.
Maybe it's a good idea to make some Banner contest for contribute and help ATS through these attacks?

Would be a nice gesture to place the winning banner in our signature bar with the assigning link?

is there any support for such a contest?

I don't think a full on contest is necessary for something like this, although I did think along the same lines. The current request, even though it is at the top of the page doesn't really scream at you. They guys did put a banner along the bottom, but it's since gone.

I guess if you wanted to, make up a sig line and post in the thread pertaining to the donations. People were posting links in their sig lines for a bit, but something with a bit more wow might generate more interest.

Well that's exactly what I mean . And mostly I'm triggered by someone's signature banner to click on it to see whats it all about . And I can imagine others also want to click on it ?

But there doesn't have to be necessarily a contest. But participating a contest makes the artist or viewers more involved in this competition I think.
