You can lick their boots if that makes you feel good. Personally, I respect those who earn it. A jaunty policeman costume and a shiny badge doesn't earn my respect.

The Media got all of you hop skippin and jumpin over that fence like the good little sheeple Obama's team expects of you.

You have all been community organized and you all don't even know it.

got all of you

you all

Speaking for myself, I can safely say I feel the exact same way I did prior to when the unrest and media baiting came along...

Sometimes a difference of opinion, is just a difference of opinion.

What an ignorant thing to say. Really?? This has nothing to do with the presidency. Are you that freakin dense. I don't even understand why you drove by to say something so stupid. Quit drinking the water, or get a filter that helps with your fluoride consumption.

I was very tickled by:

I have a math question: If 1 black man has zero guns, zero knives and 2 hands, how many bullets does it take to disarm him?

Why do the Police keep opening themselves up to these sorts of public relations disasters? Irony...

Maybe because a lot of departments are well-aware of the situation and genuinely want to reach out. Things like this blowing up in their faces only leave a bad taste in their mouth about trying to do constructive things. Shame.

I love this. Nice to see authorities called out on their BS and greeted with the backlash they themselves have earned.

Some of my favorite gems:

@cnn why do you guys ask citizens to tell on their folk when you guys won’t do so, seemingly, under any circumstance? #askacop

Yep. Cops always want people to shop out their neighbors, family members, ect for the slightest wrong doing, but mums the word when one of their fellows steps over the line.

#AskACop So how do you go about getting rid of substantial evidence to avoid indictments? Asking for a friend.

@cnn got both hands on the keyboard…cool if i reach for the remote?

#AskACop do you ever wish you were educated above a 12th grade level and could understand abstract concepts, rather than "orders" and force?

how many times you gotta get beat up in high school, minimum, before you can join the force? #AskACop @cnn

When you're beating, gassing or punching seniors, pregnant women and children, do you ever wonder what went wrong in ur life? #askacop

That was racist. Bite your tongue.

I hope you were joking as King would have despised what those two men became, they are anathema to what he taught.

That shows little understanding of MLK, too. Drag em all through the mud, huh?

I think you have it reversed. I believe there are a few good ones but most are jaded and soured.

The really good ones who try to file complaints about wrongdoing- regarding their fellow officers, but especially if they try to complain about supervisors or policies- are fired. The department cooks up or embellishes any little slight, blows it up in the media to discredit the officer, and the poor bastard is drummed out. None of the systems in place actually do diddly squat. Internal Affairs is a joke. The police chief is a joke. The unions are a joke. The City Manager's Office is a joke. The FBI is a joke- you fill out an online form and they never even contact you back, or any witnesses. And it's impossible to contact them- by phone or in person. And as one PP speculated- I haven't seen it, but it wouldn't surprise me if some 'accidents' weren't so accidental.

As long as the crappy, lazy, incompetent cops are good 'yes' men, they will remain on the street.

* Do try to imagine that every single media story is maybe 1% if the full picture. No story tells the whole truth and all sides of the story are not always told.

Show me where King was a race-baiting slime ball.
Sharpton's head should get shoved through a wall.
Racial relations are not his mission.
His anti-social specialty is being divisive.

Kings whole mission was one of "baiting" racists to act. He planned marches in the heart of Racist America, knowing full well it would result in violence for the cameras to purposefully expose the hatred to the public eye.

Not violence on his part, on the part of the "racists". Thats all they are trying to do in Ferguson now. Expose the racism entrenched in the white house of southern Ferguson.

Those that loot and burn aren't part of that movement any more than they were in Kings day. Both chastise that activity and have little responsibility for it, despite being blamed in the Media and on here for it.

The problem down there iswhite on black police brutality, not a few burned buildings. Since Ferguson PD let their town burn I'd even go so far to blame the establishment for using that as an excuse to divert attention from them selves and back onto the town as a whole.

Calling people that are trying to expose the lies down there "race baiting slime balls" is just another racist tactic.
