it has been a year since the capture of Saddam but what is happening with him?

last i heard his trial had begun and that was quite a few months back.

anyone got any updated news ?

No reply... funny, isn't it? In a democracy there should be free flow of information. The US is no longer a democracy.

He is on a hunger strike because "he is being ill treated".

Funny I just saw the story on TV just as I clicked on this thread.

They have a sadam lookalike in captivity!! Im quite serious. He is known to have more than 8 look-alikes.. Many people seem to forget this fact.

Seems like he is also they are denying the hunger strike now,

The US military has denied claims that Saddam Hussein and 11 top leaders of his former regime are on hunger strike.

i must update again there taking him to iraq he's getting trialed in july there... funny to mention about him this could lead on to be a very good thread

give it a few months and he will be put back as leader of Iraq
with a couple of billion in compensation
and a fully armed
armed service

Clearly the underbiting person hauled up in court last time was not Saddam
Saddam and a few members of his entourage got away on a Russian jet while Baghdad fell, as was reported in the Tehran Times
