If You'd go either North/South You 'may' also find the "EATS" lettering that goes with the arrows, mostly around Lost Wages, Nevada... In the Deep South, places like Flori-Duh, there are reports that instead of 'EATS' there is lettering that would spell "I'm with Stupid" but they can't find the apostrophe....

Awesome fact! Did not know that they used a system like this.

We had postal workers in airplanes using these to navigate, so it makes sense. With the Nazca lines however...nobody had the ability to fly back then..so who did they make the design for?

Makes you wonder if they knew someone was above them looking down during a time in history when no humans were in the sky...

Totally agree, they did that a lot before IFR (my dad who was a pilot too used to say I.F.R. meant "I follow railroads!" )
