Are you hosting your pictures on ATS or on another site? Any photo you use for your avatar needs to be uploaded to your ATS uploads and then set as your avatar.

If you've already done that, please let me know and I will work with you until we can figure it out.

After you have uploaded the photo you want to use as your avatar, click on the picture and at the top of that you will see a silhouette of a man... Click that and that will automatically set that picture as your avatar.

Try what I suggested above if you haven't already and let me know if that works for you...

And no. Nobody else can see your avatar by your posts. They can only see it beside your profile same as you.

I just tried I guess my browser just doesnt work its not updated, if mods could help out with it I would appreciate it very much.

Save the image you want to use to your harddrive. Then upload it to the Uploads Area. Remember it's a two step process: 1st select the file(s) then click the upload button. Once it has been successfully uploaded simply click on the Image to open it, and then click on the Avatar button (the second to last icon - when you hover over it, it says "Click to make this image your avatar".

That's it.

Yeah Gemwolf I did try that my old browser wont work when I use the upload button for some crazy reason.

I also cant read mail sent to me, not as big a concern but did want an avatar.

If I could mail someone my login and password with the link I wanted for my avatar could anyone do it for me? Would be much appreciated.

What do you mean "old browser"? What are you using? May I suggest a "new browser" like Chrome or the latest version of Firefox?

I would strongly advise against giving your username and password to anyone...

Like ten seconds for me.

Quite by accident I found that if I pressed the back arrow and then went in to reply again my original post was still there and posted perfectly at the second attempt.

Always wise to copy a post before hitting the submit button though

On the plus side I got my silver border back - so swings and roundabouts

I just noticed a ‘Glitch’ in your programming. I was checking out the stats and went to ‘Members In Good Standing’ to the last page. There are members who have joined in the last couple of days but have their Last Visit as December 31, 1969??
