As I've already pointed out, ITS A RANT FORUM. All threads within it are not suppose to be the usual "let's discuss this and consider each others opinions"
A rant is when someone shares their opinion in order to let off steam about a certain issue, telling others to shut up goes hand in hand with that. I'm not here to debate the issue I'm here to tell white people to stop trying to remind everyone that whites are also victims of police brutality - it's damaging and embarrassing.
It's like the comfortable middle class kid trying to tell everyone how bad his life is because his parents got him an xbox instead of a ps4.
So yes, I am telling you to shut the hell up because it's a rant - it's my rant. You don't like it? Start a rant of your own!

And it shows they can't handle opposing viewpoints. I've noticed that a lot on here. If someone can't handle another opinion they'll use some petty jab, nitpick the language, attack the poster.

And the only thing it shows is how uncompromising they are.

You are far off base here. These threads are not created to put a spotlight on cop on white crime. They are intended to point out that police brutality is violent phenomena that affects all races. They intend to point out that people of color should not use race as the rallying cry for their efforts.

How often do you witness civil support & empathy by minority populations when a victim of crime is white? The answer is not often. Not often at all. Now how often do you witness civil support & empathy by white populations when a victim of crime is a minority? The answer is often. Very often. This fact alone speaks volumes to the mindset of the minority populations.

I want police brutality and other related crimes & injustices to be stopped for the benefit of all people. I don't get that vibe from prominent figures around this country.

Believe what you will but these threads you rant against try to portray the problem of policing as a societal problem.

Oh good God.

Police officers kill approximately 450 people a year in America.

Now some people estimate that it may be up to 1000 due to reporting guidelines so I will use that number.

There are approximately 320,000,000 people in America.

That equates to only about .0003 of the population being killed at the hands of the police a year.

That is not even taking into account how many of those 1000 killings are 100% justified. And no I don't mean just because a court said they were, I mean 100% the perp shot at the officer first for no other reason than to kill them kind of justified.

That would make that number even smaller.

Of course no killings would be AMAZING! That is just not possible though.

And of course to ward off the inevitable comments I must make it clear that I believe any unjustified killing by a law enforcement officer is wrong and those responsible should be punished for their actions.

How are they really trying to portray it as a social problem when they're using colour to distinguish who is being victimised by cops? There's just no need for those threads, we know white people get victimised by cops, it's blatantly obvious and doesn't need pointing out, by pointing it out it's as if white people are trying to normalise brutality.

Just citing my own empirical evidence but I would venture to say that 95% of the murder cases I have investigated or helped investigate were black on black, a slightly less percentage were black on white, slightly below that white on white, and then somewhere near the bottom white on black.

I believe federal statistics would mirror my own experience.

Agreed. And to point out the obvious, cold hard truth, many black neighborhoods are no man's land. I don't think it's the white drug dealers, rapists and vandals destroying public facilities that cause those problems...

And in white slums, do they blame black people for murdering their own, oppressing their own, profiting off of their own while keeping their own down? Rarely.

But in some neighborhoods, white boy get out now!
