This one is a cracker! the best human head statue on Mars i have seen.Sorry no grand intro here,i'll be interested to see what fellow ATSers have to say though.

Thanks..yeah i wasn't really concentrating on the likeness as much when i read it,just the fact of what a crazy find this is,the more i think about it now i'm chuckling..

It was photographed by the Spirit Rover in 2005, and darn if it doesn't look a little like Obama from that angle (maybe from the opposite side it looks like McCain).

You want some human heads on Mars, I'll give ya some human heads on Mars (from stuff I found and put on the Mars anomalies thread, other posters there have many more examples. Let the good time (heads) roll.

Didn't Andrew Basiago of Project Pegasus fame claim to have met Obama as a young man and that he "already knew"that he would be president in the future? And that "statue" head is a dead ringer for him.

Cool find! Based on what I've seen on Mars there seems to be a lot of debris or fragmented pieces of statue and structures on Mars; almost like a debris field. I'd be willing to bet there was some kind of ancient explosion there that wiped out most if not all life there and caused most of the atmosphere to escape into Space. A great Martian war of days past?

I agree they are not a decent news outlet for so called 'actual news' but this is a genuine find!

I wasn't intending posting this as a provocative insinuation about Obama.I would not like to stray from the point of this thread,which is the amazing image that really does look like a human head statue.

I am quite convinced there was life on Mars and that NASA have also doctored images of the atmosphere i.e. from blue.I also don't see why there wouldn't be some resident colony there now (although who that might be is speculation) and there seems to be from the evidence i have seen, small animals,modest lakes/rivers/streams and trees.

It's not a statue or "genuine find" of any type. It's just two small rocks that look like a bit like face from a certain angle. (@@)
