Very Brief History of Weather Modification
“Weather modification is generally considered to be the deliberate effort to improve atmospheric conditions for beneficial human purposes. Not all weather modification activities, however, have been designed to benefit everyone, and have been used for purposes of war.” (1)

Weather modification dates back to the 1940’s, when the General Electric Company demonstrated that a cloud of super-cooled water droplets could be transformed into ice crystals when seeded with dry ice. Shortly after this it was discovered that fine particles of pure silver iodide with a crystal structure similar to that of ice were effective for global weather modification. As a result:

“We also know that chemtrails do exist because we do spraying; for crops, for example, and we know that they have been spraying for military purposes. So, chemtrails is nothing new. We know about it.” (2)
Here is a great document that outlines the history of various weather modification programs.

“Silver iodide remains the most often used material in cloud seeding.” (1)
The above statement was made in the 1970’s, but so much more has happened since. With silver iodide began the birth of spraying stratospheric aerosols into the Earth’s atmosphere. Silver iodide spraying began in the 1950’s(1), you can learn a bit more about it here.

Aluminum is another thing. It’s highly toxic and also very damaging to the environment.

The idea of spraying aluminum into our atmosphere goes way back, patents exist that clearly demonstrate the consideration of such materials that include the oxides of metals which have high emissivity. These include harmful substances like aluminum oxide and thorium oxide. A great patent example is one from the Hughes Aircraft Company that dates all the way back to 1990, that’s over twenty years ago. You can take a look at it here. It contains 18 claims to reduce global warming through stratospheric seeding with aluminum oxide, thorium oxide and refractory Welsbach material.

Fast forward to today, with even more chemicals added to the mix, this gives us the basic gist of geoengineering programs (image below) and why so many people are concerned about them.

But you don’t want to have people going off and doing things that involve large radioactive forgings, or programs that go on for extended periods or for that matter provide lots of reactive surfaces that could result in significant ozone destruction.” – (taken from the first film cited at end of article) M. Weather modification tech exists, this is undeniable.

What is harder to tell is wether planes do or do not carry the proper agents on board. After all, some contrails are really that, just contrails.

Indeed. But the OP still has a point about weather modification relation to contrails, for contrails cast shadows on the ground and contribute to (albeit a minor) cooling of the surface.

Those who control the weather can control the world. The only thing that is more important in control of people is fresh water. We have been so BSed to believe that governments aren't active at this that it is incomprehensible to believe it when we hear it. Controlling the weather would be one of the major desires of any power hungry government. It would be very important to cover this up too, it is more effective if we do not know about it.

Are they creating climate change symptoms to be able to collect more from the people? Weather modification would be a good tool

Again, from NASA:

It is not yet certain if the net result of these effects warms or cools the Earth, but most studies indicate that contrails have a net warming effect on our planet.

The point is, contrails do create a minor (but true) influence on the weather.

The thought of controlling where the clean water falls is a great NWO, TPTB, Agenda 21 plan.lol I never saw that view. Future wars prolly will be over clean waters.

But it just needs to be obvious that we are putting "chemicals" (how loosely you want to use the word) in the air, in the waters (fluoride) and GMOs in our food.

Cloud seeding is nothing new or secret. But it is very different than what some call "chemtrails".

Since this is a thread for "new people", you can go to www.weathermodificationinc.com to learn about modern cloud seeding and if you desire, hire them to seed clouds near you.

If chemtrails are part of the SRM program and sprayed aluminum is the goal, it is theoretical at this point and the people involved are still discussing the ramifications of doing it. (meaning they don't know what affects it will have)

Sure there are lots of folks who believe that "they" are spraying things behind our backs, but the majority of folks who discuss chemtrails are simply not understanding contrails.

I think for benefit of humanity, those interested should attempt to fully understand contrails, persistent contrails, clouds and weather so they will be aware of something that isn't normal and alert the world. Fearing clouds just doesn't help anyone.

For anyone that has not watched the movie Snowpiercer, this is a large part of what the movie was about....chemicals sprayed into the atmosphere that ended up putting the world into a deep ice age for years.

I have been curious about this for a while. If you have cloud cover during the day, it will reflect some of the radiation and have a net cooling affect (locally where there are clouds), yet after the sun goes down, remaining cloud cover will trap residual heat in and cause a net warming affect. Knowing that, how is the "net" affect calculated? (not looking for math, just the general idea if you know)

If you read most of those papers on SRM and geo-engineering, you notice wording like "proposed" and "may" and "might" used a lot. It's very important to fully understand this subject. The leaders in the scientific community who deal with this subject are still discussion the problems and "what if's" involved in doing this. If this was already a reality, why would they all waste their time on things we already knew? It just seems to all point to this having not been implemented at this time.

Do we have giant space mirrors? Huge cloud ships in the ocean? The closest that has been done (and verified) is the nut job who dumped iron into the ocean. He did so without authority and it was publicized as such.

Maybe it's happening. But until the masses can differentiate between clouds, contrails and "something completely out of the ordinary", this will be a fruitless debate. (IMHO)

Contrails are real, we know that. Aerial spraying and weather modification are also real, and not secret, we know that too.

Pollutants, in the form of harmful chemicals and industrial detritus, have a detrimental effect on our environment and general health, this much is true also.

Buts what's with the fixation everyone seems to have with those lines in the sky, as illustrated right at the top of your link?

What tells us, in that picture, whether they are contrails of water ice or harmful chemtrails? Where is the evidence? Are just supposed to accept it?

When I am surrounded by a static traffic jam that is pumping out exhaust gases for miles whilst looking at the huge plumes from the two power stations on the skyline in front of me, WHY am I being asked to get into a lather over the thin white streak reaching across the sky seven miles above my head and intersecting at a right angle with one left a few minutes earlier by a plane from a different operator on a different service?

Are people insane? Blind to the poisons being pumped into their faces? Or is there a genuine reason that actually stands up to scrutiny?

Please enlighten me.
