So I caught the end of that atrocious latest Indiana Jones movie the other day, the one one with the alien/interdimensional beings at the end that gave a gift of knowledge (albeit a slightly too big one) to that evil chick and it got me to thinking;

If you met an all knowledgeable being that would answer you one and only one question, what would you ask?

I personally would ask either how humans came to be and finally end the arguments surrounding it or ask how big the universe actually is.

What about you guys and gals?

I would be torn between asking where we came from and asking where we go when we die.
I think I would go with the latter.

Mind you, if someone gets there before me and asks those questions then my fall back question would be where the hell did my youngest hide the remote!

Two questions?

I personally would ask either how humans came to be…

Thats a good one. But like asking how a Jet liner came to be. I would ask how life got here? I want to see how that occurred.

…how big the universe actually is.

Thats easy, sort of. Imagine stretching out your hand past the solar system and the galaxy, past all the galaxies the Hubble Deep Field revealed, ever onward… there is no wall out there. If there is then something else is beyond that. If there is no boundary then It goes on forever, which means it has always been there.

Infinite and Eternal. Kind of hard for us to grasp, at some point our minds go Tilt--.

Who told Donald Trump his hair looks good the way it is?

If not, I'd be tempted to ask what happened at Roswell, but for fear it may actually be a weather balloon incident it'd be a wasted question!

So, my question is what really happened on 9/11?

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

I would ask how much wood could a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

I would ask where Jimmy Hoffa is.

I would ask if Elvis is still alive.

I would ask why if one goose is goose, and two are geese... Then why aren't moose called meese.

I would ask how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop.

I would ask why Barney and the Teletubbies had to ruin a generation.

Well... Somebody has to ask all of the important questions while you all are fooling with your silly deep thoughts like Jack Handey.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.
