1:44 - The origin of the name Hollywood can be found right here. In short, it was originally going to be called "Figwood" due to the surplus of fig trees present on the land. However, Daeida Wilcox, the wife of the land's original owner, suggested they call it Hollywood after the nearby Holly Canyon, a proposal to which H.J. Whitley, the founder of Hollywood, agreed. No mysticism or magic or occultism involved.

2:35 - The title "Star Wars" is clearly a reference to the fact that the entire series is an epic space opera set across the universe. The "war" reference has nothing to do with a Biblical narrative, but instead refers to the fact that the Resistance movement and the Galactic Empire are fighting across stellar systems, or, solar systems, with different stars. A war, fought across many worlds with many stars. A Star War. Nothing Biblical to it at all.

4:30 - The origins of the Force. The Force does not evolve out of the New Age movement. The true origins behind the Force can be found right here. In short, George Lucas, while watching a 1963 Canadian film, heard a description of æther/prana/qì/spirit/energy as a reference to the Divine, and agreed with what he heard. The commentator described the feeling and experience of this metaphysical element as a "force" and Lucas used that. In fact, as quoted below, the original usage was actually tied to the Judeo-Christian creator:

Many people feel that in the contemplation of nature and in communication with other living things, they become aware of some kind of force, or something, behind this apparent mask which we see in front of us, and they call it God."

Well, I made it through 5 minutes, about 1/3 of the video. Every premise he established, the entire foundation of his argument, was wrong though. Any structure built upon a faulty base is destined to collapse under the weight of its own hubris. The Vigilant Christian is wrong, and the only "brainwashing" and "psy-ops" I see are coming from his video.

Educate yourself, you'll be much smarter for it than listening to this blathering idiot.

Good joke, man. Please tell me you are joking.
That is Photoshopped. Had me for a second, though.

It's from the "Special Edition," the one where Marty shoots first.

didn't even need to watch the video to agree with 99% of the OP
(downloading it now)

carry on

righto.. watched the vid... it's not bad..
but the guy jumped the gun & made this video before he had his # together

the problem with this "stuff" is how he's ALREADY preaching to the choir
(one has to already be "initiated" in bible & christianity to "understand" & accept the video)

someone might think-- it's not a problem if he takes out all the bible & jesus stuff & just presents it as an anti-NWO presentation..
but yeah, that's a problem also because without the *morality* issue here, things like star wars & the lego movie (i made on topic on that one too) come across as enlightening & liberating... but they are not... and it's DIFFICULT trying to get some ignorant empowered ape to "understand" all that

i noticed in the video the jediism religion incorporates elements of the crucifix, hammer & sickle & islamic cresent in its logo, there's also a double-headed eagle (or at the very least, a phoenix) encoded in the other logo (top right corner) all of this only works for people who are already 'in the know', and most of them would be "ok" with what they're seeing here

there is a LOT more to all this.. the guy in the video MENTIONS briefly some of it (the psychological stuff) maybe someone on the fence might like to start HERE & try going over the movie analysis in some of the topics i made here, and please note these are only **the introductions** of the movies.. there is waaaaay more going on, but the folks who make these movies know that, that's why they're using stuff like medichlorians (mitochondria) in star wars, and why darth vader was "born" while luke & leia were born & while padme "dies" etc ...see the sig. linked topic for more (bring a shovel)

also- research the links between george lucas, the ILM & a unit who calls himself jordan maxwell

jedi & freemasonry are synonymous but there is waaay more to it, it's not as easy as pointing your finger at some McMason & calling him a shill, masonry is more like the office photocopier not the actual building itself (if that makes sense) also the video guy must reconcile all the masonic terminology used in the bible & remove the log first from his own eye

good luck units, imho it's just easier to believe in the bible & jesus but that means you have to actually do what it suggests & stop hating on people etc etc

oh, and may the farce not be with you

^ that's from the bible too (the wise & foolish builders, towers & foundations)

the holly-wood wand thing is something jordan maxwell says.. he's one of them shill-type units

the wording of star wars could be seen that way if we were to watch a movie about two warring stars or members of two warring star systems.. but in the star wars mythos it soon becomes apparent we're dealing with thousands of star systems etc... so it's more akin to "universe wars" than star wars? extrapolate it a bit further & we've got light vs. dark and even little anakin asking is padme's an angel (and so on... zzZZZzz)

what was the other one...? the force? and lucas is inspired by prana etc on some TV commercial...?

i think this is over your paygrade
R2D2 probably means "room 2, desk 2"
probably something he once saw on a key

Eastern mysticism is Satanic? It's Evil?

In fact Star Wars always made me want to be the good guy. Fear leads to the dark side. Christians fear too much and it's a slippery slope from there. Star wars among many other movies are actually telling you whats going on, not as mind control.. It's sort of like only those who get it get it kind of thing..

I find movies to be enlightening..

Be good.

The sad thing is that most of these so called Christians aren't really real Christians anyway. Yeh may call them selves Christians but besides that they aren't Christian.

Eastern Orthodoxy is the real Christianity not these born again latter day saint evangelical jehovas witness fake Christians.

…26If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is worthless. 27Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

It's actually basic architectural knowledge, known to the Sumerians and Egyptians thousands of years before the Jews were even a twinkling in the eye of their mothers.

Doesn't matter who says it, wrong is wrong. Jordan Maxwell or the Vigilant Christian, Hollywood is not named after a witch's wand.

in the star wars mythos it soon becomes apparent we're dealing with thousands of star systems etc... so it's more akin to "universe wars" than star wars?

Galaxy, not universe. A galaxy, like our own Milky Way Galaxy, can contain billions of stars. So, anything up to and beyond a war containing 400 billion star-systems would just be a galaxy war. Star Wars, as well, is suggestive of simply an interstellar war fought in outer space. Which is what the movie is.

extrapolate it a bit further & we've got light vs. dark and even little anakin asking is padme's an angel

Maybe it's actually Republican vs. Democrat, or freedom vs. slavery. "Light vs. dark" is a ubiquitous theme anyway, found in religions and philosophies from well before the Biblical narrative was written down. Christians don't have a monopoly on "good vs. evil" anymore than Egypt has a monopoly on bird-deities.

Lol, and which bible does this come from? Some new age rewritten misinterpreted junk?

I'm Eastern (Greek) Orthodox. I'm not devout and rarely go to church services. I haven't had communion In a few years.

But believe me (or don't, it doesn't matter to me), these new age christian churches are false. Compare them to eastern orthodox churches which have kept the original teachings and practices ad the first church, and you'll understand. I think.

Besides these new age churches are about money. Their founders are living lives of extreme luxury, as materialistic as you can get, and it's at the expense of their follows whom they've fooled unto handing over their money and in some cases their entire life savings and even their homes.

I'm not saying that all eastern orthodox churches and their priests are perfect examples of Christians but the church It suff, that of eastern orthodoxy, is the one true christian faith.

I'm also not saying that those who are part of other christian churches are wrong or will burn in hell. They believe In god and good on them. But they are being duped by their so called spiritual leaders.

My local church is actually a monastery. It's a simple building that for as long as I can remember needed it's roof painted. Enough money was finally raised to do that this year.
My local priest doesn't live a life of luxury. He doesn't live in a mansion or drive a luxury car.
Money collected during church services goes to community programs and soup kitchens and the like and providing for the church it self.

That's a big difference with these new age churches whose leaders and founders are wealthy beyond imagination as a result of the churches they founded.

Your spirituality should not be hijacked by a business person looking to take advantage of you for his own profit and personal gains.

If you want another example then read up on orthodox easter and the Holy light. Send me a private message on here and I can tell you more about it so we don't derail the thread further.

If evil hides behind every thing perceived as good... and every time a beautiful mask is removed, Satan's countenance is beheld...

then the beautiful mask of religion covers what, exactly?

I thought the essence of Christianity was about trusting, supporting and loving our fellows... like we should attempt to treat/view ourselves... not fearfully cowering in a corner, thinking everyone was attempting to entice us to hell with every comfort or beauty this world holds.

That sort of view is a self fulfilling sickness.

ETA and Star Wars was/is amazing... even the 2 really bad movies... so hopefully the new ones will be, too!

No kidding there is some eastern religious influence in the movies. Lucas was a fan of the old Kurasawa films and the Jedi are based on the Samurai of feudal Japan. That's it. No conspiracy there.

I must be a satanist because I have some holly trees in my yard. LOL.

The new movie is going to blow. Not because it's some "Illuminati elite propaganda" movie though. I'm still hoping Boba Fett will make an appearance. (He survived the Sarlaac.) That alone, and only that will make me watch it.
