I would like to hear your opinions on the following (you can answer just 1 or 2, if you want to):

1 - If someone has a dream about being put back home from a (triangular) spaceship, do you think that means something or was it just a random dream?
2 - How often do abductees remember their abductions and how much of it do they remember?
3 - Do the memories feel like real memories or more like a dream type of thing?

Thank you in advance

well, it all depends, rationally the answers are>

1 A dream is just that. a dream. You probably have been reading too much about ufo, and so that explains it. People like to think dreams have a higher/secret meaning, that is in almost all cases nonsense, especially when referring to things supernatural. "I had a dream with aliens because i was abducted!" soo... that dream of you being shot means that you are a ghost? thinking you are still alive?

2 Abductees can remember their experience just as much as people give details about their encounters with bigfoot, meaning they will "remember"the experience for as long as someone is paying to listen or for as long as they can stay at the center of attention.

3 The memories are make believe, they are as real as you want them to be.

I am sure you will get tons of answers from people that "know the truth/have done REAL research/ are not sheeple" so i just wanted to give you the other end of the spectrum.

If someone has a dream in which they are a Roman Emperor does that mean past lives are real?
Dreams are a reflection of our subconscious and as such figments of our imagination.

I believe there are several reasons why people may report that they've been abducted by Aliens but I see no evidence that Aliens are responsible for any abductions.

A Dr. Karla Turner has done some 'unique research' into "abductions".

So just because people bunch of people either LIE or dream up the abduction.

You take that as evidence that abductions don't happen to anyone.

Not sure how you came up with that from the three questions asked in the OP.

What? What you said doesn't even make any sense, I asked questions, I didn't say what I believe in or what I don't believe in...

I saw an abduction, or rather i heard it. Well it could of been lol. I heard a baby crying when i had my E.T experience and i heard phaser sounds like you would expect from a tractor beam.

the craft was silent tho until it start charging the beam up. The beings i encounter can phase people through walls at least that's what it sounded like. When it brough the baby back i heard its cry echoing off the surrounding complex walls then get muffled inside it's apt complex home, one second its cry was echoing the next it was muffled by walls then stopped suddenly.

So abduction is probably a real scenario, tho the beings i encountered were not greys.

They were skinwalkers.

I had dreams like those but at the time I was very into the ufo stuff.
For me,it was just residue from my daily life's thoughts and all the stuff i was looking at.
No I don't think I was abducted because I had a few dreams.

A friend and i did have the same dream one time though and that was pretty freaky but it had nothing to do with ufos.

Your entire premise is silly, and immature.

You are the model of courtesy, as usual.

Gosh I hope you don't apply to become police officer.

Not only are you misinterpreting the OP, but you fail to understand where the alien abduction myth comes from. Alien abduction stories are nearly always the result of "recovered memories." This happens when a subject is hypnotized and fed leading questions by the hypnotist. Back in the 1980s when this technique was popular, there were some "therapists" whose clients always produced stories of alien abductions, while others produced stories of ritual Satanic sexual abuse. No hypnotist ever seemed to have a mixture of these "memories" among their clientele. Recovered memories are no longer taken seriously by the psychiatric establishment.

a reply to: Emma3I propose some scenario(s;es;ii-not sure which it should be)

Abduction is either:a form of sleep paralysis,a psychological event or it actually happens.

Have such events been reported amongst tribal peoples? In South America for instance?

Yes! Owing to cultural differences, the dream figures are interpreted as evil spirits, not extraterrestrials. Dreams of persecution, entrapment, dis-empowerment and so forth are universal because these fears are universal; each culture and individual has its own set of symbols to express these emotions and experiences.

Good cases to review about this are Travis Walton (deep rabbit hole) and Betty and Barney Hill. Also check out a book title, Conmmunion by Whitley Streiber.

These and other encounters go way beyond just some dreaming, involving more than one person and more than one eyewitness.

1 - If someone has a dream about being put back home from a (triangular) spaceship, do you think that means something or was it just a random dream?

Concluding abduction by aliens is usually a matter of adding a bunch of things up that lend more credibility to the experiences overall, sometimes over a lifetime.

Unless others are involved. You have thoroughly debunked every case have you?

Travis Walton hid from the limelight and offers of money for decades. He and his fellow logging buddies tried to forget about it, not ride the gravy train.

There are those cases out there that have validity....there are also wannabes that want to believe at any cost including having a dream and acting like they were abducted.
This is why ufology is a tough one....a lot of people embellish and the good cases don't get taken seriously because of those people who are willing to embellish and look foolish while making ufology look foolish at the same time.

Why do you consider that necessary?

He appeared on game shows. They made a movie about the incident. And he failed a lie detector test.

He appeared on "Moment of Truth" 34 years after the incident. If he was trying to get notoriety why wait that long?Travis wasn't involved in the movie. Except for one incomplete and invalid result, the other members of his crew all passed lie detector tests while Travis was still missing. Travis was missing for five days and his buddies were being blamed for it by authorities. So they took lie detector tests…

Travis test 34 years later on a game show valid?

There is nothing inconsistent with the idea that it was a joke on Travis' part that got out of hand.
