Why the West will never win in the Middle East.

OK, I'm going out on a limb here, but i just read this article and the following quote summed up why
"western values" can never be forced or imposed on "middle eastern values". (imo).

It also raised deep suspicions that the United States wanted to use its initiative as a tool to impose western values on traditional societies in the aftermath of the Iraq war.

Yes, I agree with you Sanctum. There is no way this cultural invasion will succeed and by doing what the US is doing, abusing and murdering scores of Iraqis and declaring wars on so many Muslim countries, all it is doing is making the will of the muslim people stronger to fight. They are a wounded dog, that will any moment snap out at the people of America. As Osma Bin Laden said "The reasons are still there for a repeat"
