regin new net bug discovered

A leading computer security company says it has discovered one of the most sophisticated pieces of malicious software ever seen.
Symantec says the bug, named Regin, was probably created by a government and has been used for six years against a range of targets around the world.
Once installed on a computer, it can do things like capture screenshots, steal passwords or recover deleted files.... Well sheeple being spied upon yet again suprise :0

i don't see how this is something new.

we all know that the "smart agency guys" can and know how to acces any terminal using internet, by using hidden backdoors. After that, it's a simple task to inject a keylogger.. bla bla

You can get something similar for your computer : if someone steals it you can obtain screenshots and webcam images of the thief , and/or the person they sold it to ... wikipedia.org/wiki/Prey_(software)

NB: before installing such software you should consider if the organisation supplying it can be trusted , and can they be hacked ?
