Grunge

Just got the Sirius / Lithium Channel - had my best times in the 90's that i forgot about...

Could the Melvins and Screaming Trees be considered grunge? I love music but the only grunge band I actually like is Nirvana. Even then, in small doses.

How bout The Cranberries?

I dunno great song though:

Brings back memories, enjoyed the unplugged sometimes more than the originals. Cranberries hit big when record companies were promoting "Alternative" after the tail end of "Grunge" as a trend was going around. Seems them more as that really, but kinda Grunge at times.

Both of those bands were grunge before Nirvana was even a glimmer in MTV's eye.
