Birmingham Pub Bombings 40 Years Ago Today

40 years ago today. November 21st 1974, 21 died and 182 where injured in two Pub Bombings in Birmingham.

The Bombs where planted by the I.R.A. To this day the perpetrators have never been caught and convicted.

They went out for an evenings enjoyment and never returned home.

My Grandad used to own a pub which we lived in as my Dad was in the Navy.

I was only 5 at the time but that night and many nights later the Irish were beaten up,I remember watching from upstairs with my brothers the mass brawling against the Irish in the car park.

It was a sad day for the city of Birmingham a very sad day.
