As rational people, we all know and accept this about where we live. Yet for some reason all logic gets tossed when we start talking about places with chairlifts and angular slopes. Recently my editor hit me with this link and the heat map below, predicting when the coldest day is most likely to fall across the country (news flash: it’ll be during winter), and asked if I could sum up what that means for this coming ski season. Never one to shy away from a hard story (and remembering that I get paid by the post on this site), I accepted the challenge. So here goes…
