There was, once upon a time, an attempt was made to make a polecap flyable.

There's some interesting stuff on Bing showing at Dugway too..Inside the fenced in area on the Northeast side of the runway, right near the entrance on the right side, sits a Northrop AGM/MGM-137 TSSAM, along with two TSSAM shipping containers (the boxes with the pointy noses) to the right of the missile. Farther up to the left, at the base of an earthen type storage bunker, sit what appear to be four Lockheed Senior Prom cruise missiles...

I saw a much better image on Google. Definitely a TSSAM. The other things by the earth berm appear to be transport trailers of some sort. There is also an AGM-86B shape northwest of the bunker.

Do you know of any tests up there about a year or so ago? We were running west and just as we got near there a plume of smoke started coming up, like something had just detonated.

That does not surprise me. What surprised me about that article, was them driving a mathematically perfect stealth shape down a highway in broad daylight. Pretty Ballsy.
