YUBA CITY — Officer Clorenzo Griffin has been a police officer in Miami for four years. He was a hardcore advocate for the US government’s War on Drugs. His reason for becoming a cop was so that he could “counsel children,” he said, “about the dangers of drugs.” Surprisingly — or perhaps expectantly, depending on how you look at things — Officer Griffin has been caught speeding with 24 pounds of marijuana packed into his car after he was involved in a drug deal. It began in the parking lot of a motel in Yuba City, California. Although he was supposed to be off-duty at the time, Officer Mack was fully decked out in his police gear, sources say.

Two things we need to change immediately, the war on drugs and violence and corruption within the police department.

Can it get anymore clear to the American public that both of these issues need to be stopped now?

God what does it take to wake up?

"Do as I say not as I do" is not leadership, its bull****. It's not a method of law enforcement.

You either lead by example or any credibility you could possibly have is gone. End of story.

This is what I tell my soldiers, its what say to my superiors, and it is what I EXPECT from anyone in a leadership role. To include politicians and law enforcement.

When those charged with our protection can't handle this basic tenet of responsibility, leadership, and professionalism they should be crushed.

I just can't stand seeing people who preach one thing and then do another.

I can't stand it in my profession or in any other facet of public service.

Of course Dorner was right. That's why he had to die. They wanted him dead.... so much that they damned near killed several people that didn't even match his description during the manhunt.

Neither am I.
I am just showing what a 'good' cop is up against. Thin blue line and all that.
