My issue, and I am repeating myself.... If anyone bothered to read the posts in the thread, is that Michelle Obama denigrated the black audience when she told them that they should vote a straight Democrat ticket.. Without regard to what the candidates say or do.
“This isn’t about Barack. It’s not about the person on the ballot — it’s about you. And for most of the people that we’re talking to, a Democratic ticket is the clear ticket that we should be voting on, regardless of who said what or did this. That shouldn’t even come into the equation."

“We need you to … encourage all of your friends and neighbors to show up and cast their straight ticket Republican vote because this election is about the top of the ticket all the way down to the bottom of the ticket,” Republican Party of Texas Chairman Steve Munisteri wrote in an email sent out this week.
Hence, in the battle to save America from what the truly evil Democratic party leadership has become and will certainly try to do if they retain power, I propose that we start an active campaign to encourage voters of all stripes and walks of life to “Vote Straight Ticket Republican”. (A friend counsels that it is a time saving device as well…”Vote One and Done”, meaning you can vote R and you are done rapidly.)

You're taking it too seriously. It's much ado about nothing.

But I don't see where he was speaking to a white audience.

Obama responded, “Absolutely. I give everyone full permission to eat some fried chicken after they vote.
If a white person had said this, they would have been called a racist -- saying the 'fried chicken' remark was a slur towards blacks

She "gives full permission" ... who in the Hell does she think she is? I wonder if our children's lunch menus will shortly be determined by how a parent is registered to vote.
Tell ya something else: I don't see racism here as much as I see her trying to dumb-down (or play to the ignorance of) a certain class of voter. She's lost her reason to be proud of America ... again. LOL

Yes. It IS about her talking to a predominately black audience as if they were children.
I think it is offensive.
