What is this thing in the sky?

Someone asked several pages ago where in the UK this happened. I can't seem to find an answer - care to enlighten please? I can't be arsed to deconstruct a mobile phone pic but I might keep an eye out of the window ...

What is the thing in the upper left hand corner? I'm not saying this is what it is but it looks like a window sill. The angle it's at makes it look like the UFO is a light inside the house.

If it's been mentioned before I apologize.

Each time its hit the coastline turned west and headed towards Brighton.

Its not a light inside the house or any kind of reflection. I took the photo because I could see it with my own eyes.
If I had wantd to fake a ufo pick I could have done a lot better than this.

Are you going to upload the unedited photo sans the exif data?

Edit: and not once have I said you added anything into the photo. However there is clearly a blowup in the OP indicating that is a doctored image if at least for easier viewing. How much else was cropped out?

You started by saying you had no suspicions.
Then you picked on the ISO=0 value.
Now you've moved on to suspecting a cropped image.

The Exif Data.
What possible reason would I have for changing it to zero and thereby raising a big red flag. If I were trying to fool people I would have entered a value!
Its value is set at zero because the camera has failed to enter any data into it, and as I mentioned earlier, a quick google reveals this is not unknown for android devices.

Cropping.
Please show all of us coming through this thread where you think cropping has taken place. Indeed, please show all of us coming through this thread any strange anomilies you can see within the photo.
Can you infact show us any such evidence? or are you merely grasping at straws?

Please dont ignore, show us your reasons for your suspicion!

Bay w_indow. (forum software wont accept the word w_indow) I was looking almost straight up to the sky. As I said in the op, I saw this object about a year ago but didn't have a camera with me. The other day I just happened to look out of the kitchen window and saw it again, it was going over top so I rushed out to the other side of the house and took the pic you see in the op.
Its real, its not a reflection, its not stars or venus etc, its a craft flying with lots of orange light coming from it.
I could see it much more clearly with my eyes, its real.

You said the other thing in the corner is a window? Since you took the pic and you can use the same camera to take the same pic again could you do that during daylight so we can see the "Bay window"?

By the way Window appears if you don't follow it with a period.

Lets suppose you've seen the unedited photo and can find nothing wrong, then what? Will you say everything is cool? or will you simply start digging from another angle?

And yes, the image in the OP is cropped. For you to say it isn't is a bit fishy. You already posted the dimensions of the image and they don't match the image you have in the OP. That image is also edited as you added the blowup.

Whether you cropped it or not is immaterial, but the full unedited image would be nice to see.

You are acting like you think you know something yet dont even realise the difference between cropping and resizing?
It was reduced in size to 700 width to fit this forums dimensions, that makes it more easily veiwed by more people. That was why I enlarged the object, because the resize made it very small.

Now please tell us. If I upload the full size image and you can find nothing wrong with it, will you dro this? or will you start from another angle?
I'm sure we'd all like the answer to this.

I already said it doesn't matter if it was cropped. I just wanted to see it without the blowup. I already said if it was cropped is immaterial. The next step would be to take a shot of the window from the same angle during the day. This would give a comparison.

That is also not an unusual request as that is often asked of people. Most people are ready to help. You seem extremely standoffish like you are being attacked when nobody had attacked you.

To me, I see image noise which is usually caused by a long exposure. I see it in the window frame/sill as well as the shading at the top and right.

From my limited experience it appears you captured an image of a single point of light with a long exposure and accidentally moved the camera.

You captured no other images?

I've had this opinion since page one that whatever that is in the pic is on the ground, not up in the sky…

Unless he's standing on his head. I don't want to see it that way but he could dispel all suspicion by showing everyone what the scene of the photo looks like during the day. After all he took the photo with his camera , should be easy enough.

And OP should be willing to comply after all, extraordinary claims blah, blah…

If you dont want to believe whats shown thats fine. But please make up your own mind, do not allow others to influence you!

You will notice that first there was a demand for exif data. That data was provided.
The camera/phone used didn't enter a value for the ISO speed and that was used to attack this thread. A quick search of google shows that errors in exif data is common for android devices. Exif data is just text, it can be altered by anyone and is useless as proof that a photo is genuine.

Next is a demand for the original picture. I can understand this, but as I pointed out in the thread it was not my phone and it was not my home where the photo was taken, hence I have another persons identity to protect. The original photo possibly contains gps information (that persons home location) and again, I do not have the right to play with another persons privacy!

Then there's accusations of cropping of the photo. There was no cropping as has been proven.

Now that I have provided the full image they have moved on to attacking me personally.

I ask why they want a daylight photo and its described as a dodge.

Do not let them influence you, make up your own mind.
