The Earth - A Living Creature (The Amazing NASA Video)

Amazing the longer you watch the more it feels and looks like EARTH is a living thing.

We've all seen images of extreme weather from space. But none of those could prepare us for this video just released by NASA's Scientific Visualization Studio. Using real data, this simulation's volume-rendered clouds depict seven days in 2005 when a category-4 typhoon developed off the coast of China.

The Earth does its part, do we do ours ?

The Beautiful Sophia.

Some very large vortexes in the cloud movements. And huge land areas are dead or dying - look at Australia and the western United States, sand and dust and more sand and dust. And this is from 2005, so the desertification must be even worse now.

We were in a 10yr drought back in 2005, and it changes considerably season to season.

The last couple of years have been good in my part of Australia.
