As the governments of West Africa struggle to contain the spread of the Ebola virus, I am wondering where all the men and women of God who claim they can heal the sick and who conduct faith healing sessions in countries across the region are? Where are all the continent’s miracle workers now that people desperately need healing; where are the anointed men and women of God now governments urgently need to contain the spread of Ebola?

Great question. Why isn't Benny Hinn over there swinging his jacket?
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Interesting how it says to preach to every creature. I never noticed that before.

Who are these faith healers you speak of? I believe God can work miracles but I don't believe there are people who can heal on command in the name of the Lord. I doubt many of the 2 billion Christians on the planet do.
“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”

Sorry but its not just faith healers. Organized religion is a control trip. Prayer is an excuse not to actually have to help do anything.
The reason droves of christians aren't there praying for deliverance is because they are to busy helping themselves and the church.
