Tis nothing. As long as the cable and microwave still work, let there be no light (for six days).

I don't know how true this information is, but a couple of days ago one of my coworkers mentioned the same thing. He heard of it on a Lebanese tv channel.

So I guess this "news" or rumor, whatever it is has been going around a couple of days, and in different countries.

It would be nice to find the original source if possible.

ETA: I see it is a hoax that circulated on FB.
I'll tell my coworker.

I'm guessing that because you posted this here, you felt it had some validity.

Can I ask what exactly made you think this could be true?

Not trying to be rude, but when I read something like "NASA confirms..." My first move would be to find an official NASA source.
