Average citizens gunned down? No big deal we'll report it and hope the two middle-aged detectives who barely get up find them.

Police get killed? Absolute manhunt. Total hypocrites.

Let the freak show begin. I dont agree with what he did, but it is only a matter of time that more of these things happen. With the continued abuse of the public there will be a rise and more will feel that there is no other way, talking wasnt enough anymore because nobody was listening. The sad thing is the innocent people caught up in this and their families.
How many more civilians will be gunned down by cops and abuses by american forces where it doesnt make the media. However this has be dragged out like an episode of Cops.

The killings he committed are no victory for anyone and the same can be said for his capture.
Young lives have been ended and ruined but many will cling to the story like an episode of judge judy

so now they can have halloween?

Correction. Police Motto: Protect yourselves and serve warrants.

But you're right. When a cop gets shot or killed it's a complete no-holds-barred manhunt until that person is captured, because "one of their own" got shot or killed. Anyone else and it's completely different. They won't actively search for 48 days for the murder of anyone else like they would for someone who hurts "one of them." Makes me sick.

And the fact that the media played how he's gonna get our children while he was on the run was equally sickening.

Frein definitely is a guy that needed captured, and first degree murder as well as illegal weapon charges are warranted ... but one thing I find odd is one of the charges is for possessing weapons of mass destruction for his pipe bombs.. is a pipe bomb really a weapon of mass destruction? .. if that's true then I'm sure we can safely say we were justified in invading Iraq.. I'm sure they had some grenades and other explosives.. I think that charge is a little over the top.. either way he won't be getting out of prison any time soon, if ever in his life time.
